The whole Patrick Surtain situation and Coach O's decision to only sign 1 cb and 1 safety in that recruiting class.
We missed on Surtain and K. Joseph transferred so you have zero defensive backs from that signing class.
That is why true freshmen corners are needed to play now whether they are ready or not.

I feel like we've lost 10 DB's since July
Edit: Out of curiosity, how many times have we had an injured or departed DB this season? I haven't been keeping count because of how many injuries we've had in total so far this season.

What about Raydar Jones? Clearly, he's behind Flott and Ward. I don't recall seeing him on the field at all yet. Is he just not ready? Redshirting?

Haven’t seen it specified either, but the verbiage used by the advocate in quoting CEO was that he was injured vs Utah state & “might not play against Florida” + it was a footnote in an article discussing the status of Logan, Lawrence, and Divinity — context seems to imply he’ll be back soon at worst.

Sometimes its jsut misses, but sometimes it is poor planning.
I know we thought we had Surtain locked down in the 2018 class, but even then we should have taken 3 (especially considering I don't think Joseph is a CB long term).
