How many 170# players do you see on NFL rosters. Not many. Insane that he is wasting his one shot at the NFL a year too early. Come back and get stronger.

I thought Flott was a year behind Stingley

Flott played in 2019 as our 5th or 6th corner

Flott should probably stay and get a solid year and try to increase his stock.

All 165 pounds of him as a NFL safety? I would not take him, but good luck.

pretty much a starter next year. could have improved his stock to early round NFL pick but rather be a FA or a 7th round pick instead. Makes total sense. Miles and O locker room culture was terrible. Who do these kids get their info from?

I'm waiting to see whatever team drafts Sting if/when they play the Eagles. It'll be interesting to see how Sting holds up against Devonta Smith, considering how badly Smith clowned him in their only 2 meetings...

As far as Flott, he would really benefit from an extra year of conditioning and game play to improve his grade before declaring.

Hate to see him go. My opinion he needed to stay and I’m afraid we will never hear from him again

He doesn’t appear to be a physical corner, not someone to come up and make the big hit on that bruising tailback in the NFL.

The last like 2 tackles of his LSU career were big TFL where he threw off his defender and came up very hard on an RB and a WR, including forcing a fumble resulting in a touchdown.

He most definitely plays big, bigger than he is. And that will matter. NFL is big on measurables, but he does have some good film. WRs and DBs are pretty much aliens to me, but even when beat (from what I can tell) he plays with good techinque. That will go a long way.

Now there's times where he was out of position, or looks like it. That's a whole other thing because it is hard to tell if it was him or another guy. And we had so many guys get out of position/bad communication it's undeterminable with our info.

I think there's going to be several that shy away from him because of those measurables unless he puts some rolls of quarters in his cup somehow. But there will be an equal amount who like his film enough.

In his situation, having more film wouldn't hurt because of that size/weight. Because of that he's decision process should be focused on who else is available at the position. That will determine the ratio of teams who shy away vs. how many see that he plays big.

Yeah it surprises me. I think another year at LSU and he would be a household name. And I think Stingley is going to do ok in the pros but will not be able to stay healthy...way too fragile for the NFL imho.

Flott is very good at defending slants and the quick game. Could become a solid nickel. It’s when he played outside that he struggled.

I was very confused and then realized you were talking about Flott while I was talking about Stingley

stupid decision, 6th round TOPS, prob undrafted free agent... should come back, add 20lbs and go in the 2nd/3rd round next year as a safety. horrible decision.

all draft eligible juniors except Stingley should come back.

stingley will still go 1st round, but IF (and its a pipe dream) he were to come back, He would virtually be a lock for the Heisman and top 3 pick.

If Im woodward (and yes its prob a waste of time) I would make a pitch to Stingley and his dad for a huge NIL deal and a Million dollar Heisman campaign deal. (play a little offense) I actually think his dad would listen.. for 5 minutes... never know...

Do you know how difficult it is to add 20 pounds in one off season as a junior and then maintain the same abilities? Also, he's a corner. He's not a safety and never will be except in very distinct scenarios.

Corners who don't get the ball thrown at them don't win the heisman, and he's already a top 3 pick.

No surprise to me. He greatly improved this year. That doesn't mean he's NFL material, just that he actually played decent ball. I feel like another year and if he is able to get stronger and continue to build on his measurables then he could go in the top 2 rounds. Leaving now makes him very likely an UDFA or last round pickup.

I wish them all the best, but outside of Stingley and Clark,I don't see any of them going before 3-4 round and that's being generous.

I really hope CBK can reverse the trend of players that will ultimately be undrafted leaving early
