You’re naive to think that half those don’t get changed to neutral site.

I doubt any of them do.

So nice to see them playing big games in neutral venues instead of on college campuses.

Yeah because once every ten years or so is all the time.

Yeah because it’s not like they just scheduled two neutral sites.

I remember Tulane with Wally English and his son Jon at QB whipping top ten FSU and UF demolishing then there too. Let’s bring back those memories for FSU.

You will have to give Fsu a lot of a__whippings to equal the a__whippings Fsu has given Lsu throughout the history of this series. Remember Fsu is 7-2 vs Lsu all time. All jokes aside hopefully we've improved much by 2022 so we can expect a great game.

From a "roundtable" discussion on Tomahawk Nation:

BONUS QUESTION: Who will be under/behind center for the ‘Noles for these matchups?

A: The LSU defensive line

Neutral site games suck.

Hey, don't be so upset. We'll have some in -state nail biter to make up for it. Personally, I'm hoping for McNeese St.

They sound like a bunch of sissies. They must have forgotten how Bobby Bowden built the FSU program. By playing anyone, anytime, anywhere. Sound familiar?

I live in Central Florida and agree that Orlando proper is nothing special but compared to Tallahassee its luxury. I think a lot of you underestimate just how much of a sh*t hole Tallahassee is.

Heck the south side of Tallahassee rivals and maybe even beats the worst parts of BR and NOLA. It's downright scary and third world like.

I was about to say the same thing. I have a friend who's an FSU grad and I've been to Doak and Tallahassee three times, including one time for an FSU/Clemson game. As far as I'm concerned Doak and Tallahassee are being very overrated by a lot of LSU fans on here.

The neutral site aspect is probably more for FSU than it is for LSU. FSU Athletics is hurting for money so they need the extra money from neutral site games. Plus Tallahassee is so crummy very few FSU grads stay in the area after graduation. The only FSU grads who stay in Tallahassee are the ones working in politics. There are more FSU grads in Orlando than there are in Tallahassee and FSU know that.

As someone who has been to Camping World Stadium as well as Doak Campbell Stadium I can tell you right now if you think Camping World Stadium isn't nice you would absolutely hate Doak. Florida fans don't call it the erector set for nothing. Sure the brick facade looks nice but once inside its a dark and dingy stadium with horrible concessions and tight corridors. Easily lower half by SEC standards. Plus Doak is mostly bench seating so they cram you in there.

Never mind Tallahassee itself is a cr*p city. Where would you rather stay?

1) At a resort near the Theme Parks or an hour away on the beach (Orlando).
2) At some mediocre roadside hotel off I-10 in the middle of nowhere (Tallahassee)

And unless you're ready to spend at least $300/night for a Holiday Inn/Hampton Inn/Courtyard quality hotel you're not staying in Tallahassee. You'll be staying 100 miles away and driving in day of the game. Some great experience there.

Never mind the first time I went to an FSU game with my FSU grad friend he took me on Tennessee Street. Completely overrated, nothing special.

Trust me guys, LSU caught a break making this neutral site. I could understand maybe wanting Miami over Orlando but Orlando is still a lot better than Tallahassee. You aren't missing anything.

Actually neutral sites are whats dying off. Everyone prefers home and homes now.

Everyone does prefer home and home and that is why they are coming back.

, but the guaranteed money is why neutrals have not died off, as explicitly shown by this thread alone.
