He can’t see the ball at all. He just guesses. And that is a big reason he has no confidence in his swing.

yes, you are allowed to carry a bat into the box. sure, you can take a few warmup swings while you're in that on deck circle. but under absolutely no conditions are you allowed to swing said bat while in the box. we're hoping for walks or hit by pitches when you're up there, kid
