Five LSU juniors reportedly leaning toward early draft entry quote: I'll be glad when Ego and "The Freak" are gone. Neither played up to the legacy of their position. This is one the stupidest statements I have seen in awhile on here. Your hoping that they leave because they didn't measure up to past LSU players in your mind? What the frick is your problem? Myself I am proud and thankful for everything they have done as Tigers.

Agreed- they have represented the university well. If they go - good luck to them.

This is the kind of shite I'm talking about. Get into trouble "I'll be glad when they're gone", don't play up to standards but still stay out of trouble, "I'll be glad when they're gone".

I didn't like how Welter played or Mills, or Loston for the most part, or Barrow or Johnson and Ego for being weak upfront, but I won't be "glad they are gone" just so because they didn't meet their standard. I'd hope all of them come back to make us experienced and a veteran team. I also know that we have to trim some to sign this ridiculous class, so I am not pissed if they leave.

Yea, losing any talent on defense early to the draft is really bad news. I want Landry, Odell, Collins and Hill back for selfish reasons, but each one of those guys is going to grade high in the draft.

None of those names are surprising at all. However, Ego and Freak really should come back because they both had rather disappointing years. IMHO, they've actually hurt their own draft stock this past season.

Freak and Collins should return to better draft stock. But I know they smell the money.

Hill is a So. so I think that is why he isn't mentioned in the article even though he can go pro.

I agree that Collins and freak could definitely come back and polish their games a bit more. Ego would benefit by coming back as well. The lure of playing in the nfl isn't all glamorous like everyone thinks, especially if you aren't ready to make the leap

Ego, Freak and Collins could use another year, but I understand the paycheck and chance of injury. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Odell and Jarvis should go.
Hill could go, but could benefit if he stayed another year and didn't get in any trouble.
Ego is 50/50.
Collins & Johnson should stay. Both have the ability to be first round guys, I have a feeling another year would suit them well.

Either way, looking forward to seeing these guys succeed in the league and represent LSU!

I think they need to tell these kids how many players they give first round evaluations to. Because i suspect it is way more than 32.

Yep, it's more about 'potential', which means there are probably over 100 players they tell this too, but to a 20 or 21 year old, they don't get the full understanding of this...

Losing both of our DTs will kill our rotation next year.

I have to question a few of those guys decisions on a couple of levels.

The only way to STOP this trend is to start winning championships. If Miles can convince them that a championship their senior year is going to happen more will stay.

With the potential for the top recruiting class coming in 2014 and a mobile QB with great potential to run/pass it could be the difference b/w sitting on the bench or used sparingly in the NFL vs. competing realistically for a national championship.

I hope they see only 5 or 6 of the ones that left early last year are currently on an active NFL roster!!!!

Had our jr's stayed last year we would have won the championship this year. Had honey badger gotten clean we would have won it the year before.

I asked this question couple weeks ago, Nobody ever could answer it, which is odd taking into consideration the amount of know it alls that reside here.

Why is LSU seemingly the only school having this number of underclassman leaving?
Players leaving that don't dominate in college, yet they believe they will do it at next level.
It's a problem for us.
My concern is LSU football, I don't really care about the NFL.
