For the full College Station experience you'll want to start the night with a shot of JYNNEOS. Chase that with a shot of PrEP

Don't teabag anyone after we kick that arse. You may end up getting more than you bargained for.

Wear a good belt wouldn’t want your pants dropping around there.

1775

1775 BBQ
on Raymond Stotzer Pkwy

A little bit on the outskirts of CS, but worth the drive.

Gotta go early, they run out of stuff.

Leave the dog alone. They get all crazy if you try to pet that collie.

It is ok to pet their "girlfriends", they don't really care about that.

I recommend staying in Houston, drive up to CS Sat a.m., go watch a game at the Dixie Chicken in the afternoon, walk to the game from there, and drive back to Houston right after game. It is by far the worse venue in the SEC. The girls are hideous, all the dudes are clones and outnumber the chicks by 5 to 1, the politeness mentioned on this thread is fake because they're just waiting for you to f up and disrespect their weird traditions so they can pounce on you, it's hot AF, no place to take a leak on campus, and it's depressing as hell

What are the odds of them being open Friday afternoon - 2-4 somewhere in that range?

Thinking of things.. if we don't get tickets, what's a good place to pull up at? Sounds like Dixie Chicken will be overcrowded.

It was never a thing until the SECRant, tbh.

For years (and still is), A&M has actually been highly criticized for the opposite — being a conservative university not welcoming to “alternative lifestyles.”

I’m sure it’s a Yell Leader thing, which the SEC wasn’t at all used to.

This is entirely false. Reveille’s handlers stop every few steps for pics with fans. They’re more than used to it, and will absolutely accommodate.

Dixie Chicken is the only bar I've seen near campus. Everything else I've seen is is away from campus just off the highway

I didn’t know Dixie Chicken was considered a true bar. Our neighbors told us to eat there but couldn’t fit it in.

But I am pretty sure there are more student type bars on that same north side of campus. The daughter of a family in a neighborhood we used to live in was killed by one of Obama’s drunk driving dreamers (actually a horrible, painful, & long death over a week with multiple surgeries and amputations), but I think the reason she was walking with friends on the sidewalk next to University Dr is because there are multiple bars for students in that area around Dixie Chicken. I think Johnny Football’s bar is around there somewhere as well.

These deaths were tragic and unforgettable.
And they died innocently, as you say, doing something they loved.
But, with post after post and page after page of taunting A & M about its reputation for buggery, you are stirred with indignation only when the Aggies are accused of not knowing how to build a "proper bonfire"?
We grieve these deaths with you, but you guys are off the charts WEIRD.
