So, he needs to cut out a section of the grass from outside the student union, bring it inside, and walk on it while wearing a hat?

University Dr, about a mile northwest of Kyle field. Lots of places to hangout and eat/drink. It’s an easy walk

I would not recommend climbing over the VIP rope of the doggie graveyard and getting on all fours and barking at the tombstones.

Seemed like a good idea in 1995 though.

The Republic is a great steakhouse. I go there when we have to go to ERT Academy. Top notch Bourbon Selection. Mash Madness just started I think. Fuego is pretty good mexican. Napa Flats has decent food and Champion Pizza is good if you need just a quick slice. Aggieland has a couple decent spots especially Dixie Chicken and The Corner Bar n Grill. Blackwater Draw Brewery is good and super chill.

Fuego has really good tacos that are unique. I’d try going there for a meal

Hold you wife’s hand when walking around, keep her close. You don’t want the natives getting notion that you might be down for some late night post yell practice fun.

I live in Katy and go up to BCS regularly for work
here are my suggestions, all of these are near Kyle Field

if you want barbecue go to Cooper’s on Hwy 6, it isnt the best but it is open pit and pretty good and way better than Rudy’s, beef rib is VERY good, big dining room with lots of seating

I like the food/burgers at Harvey Washbanger’s, it is a bar/restaurant/laundry mat
https://www.washbangers.com/

if you go to Northgate, barhop and be content to drink outside on the patios, all of those bars get really really crowded inside

the food and experience at the Dixie Chicken is very overrated, it gets super crowded and the way it is set up it is tough to move around in there on game day, there are better bars around there

just walk around Northgate and find a spot to hang

if you know anyone tailgating, then definitely get on campus and enjoy the atmosphere. the aggies seem to be more into corporate big tent tailgate parties than small individual tailgates, but for the most part they are friendly and welcoming.

the campus is really big and parking is plentiful, they are masters at managing game day traffic

the union and campus are fine, kind of sterile and bland though

the stadium is like an NFL stadium, massive and very clean

The truth of the matter is that the A&M students are extremely polite and respectful. Never had a bad time there.
