With all this talk about the running game and the mathematical certainty that we will open the season with a run of 3 yards I have an idea. How about line up in 3 wide Shep, Tolliver, and Randle handoff to Murphy who pitches back to JJ, when is the last time LSU ever ran a flee flicker?
Even if it was incomplete I would be happier than a pig in shite that we tried something and took a chance. I don't mind losing I just want to see us going down swinging!

Shep 17 yards on the reverse option sending a message to the vaunted UNC defense they are in for a long night

I seem to remember seeing a successful flee flicker recently but maybe it was the Saints...

I wanna see that play from back in 07 vs Bama. The handoff to Hester. Reverse to Doucett(sp), pass down the field to Flynn.
So with todays players it would be hand off to Murphy, reverse to Shepard, pass to Jefferson. That would get the stadium fired up!

Let me rephrase, I fuc_ing hate loosing but I realize you can't win every game, particularly when you have Crowton and Strwudumbass coaching.

After a great return we get first down on the UNC 20. Miles loses track of downs and we kick a field goal on the first play.
you're better than this.

Shot play action bootleg pass. Get Jefferson a quick completion. I'd like the whole first drive to be short passes and screens with runs mixed in to get JJ some early confidence. If JJ can get it going early on it will set the tone, and be a successful offensive game.

flee flicker
Probably slip of the key, but I like it as a much more accurate description of our offense.

IMO, a good 8 yard, physical run on first down, is about all u can ask for. It sets the kind of tone I believe we need for the year

Russell Shepard bubble screen.. he fumbles and doesn't play another down until the Tennessee game.

Open up the play book big time !!
spike the ball
and then run a no huddle QB sneak
