I believe Max will win the competition because of his mobility. When the pocket gets tight, Max can run the ball. TJ looks like a slow motion Giraffe. Sorry but no chance of a run for TJ....

How exactly do you explain how bad Johnson looked when he first came in the game? Yeah, he looked better when A&M was more concerned very late with preventing any big plays. Both were done in by absolutely inept offensive line play and pathetic play calling that did nothing to help either. To put last night on Finley alone shows you're an idiot.

Finley throws touchdown passes to the other team. Max hasn't. It's an easy choice right now.

There’s no way Finley starts this week after that arse ripping coach gave him.

Max will finish the season as starter unless he absolutely blows it.

Max is by far more polished. Just watch him from the snap to when he releases the ball. Everything he does looks like a future NFL QB.

Stop worrying about QB play, on-line is the problem.

Combined stats of Aub/A&M:

TJ
22/49 (48.9%) 261 yds; 0 TDs; 4 INTs; 1 fum, 2 sacks - 1 pick 6 (1 ret to 1 yd line), 1 fum ret TD

Max
29/46 (63.0%) 285 yds; 2 TDs; 0 INTs; 5 sacks

Both of Max's stats were when the game was mostly out of reach so that can certainly skew the stats

Max:
1-Throws much better on the run
2-Has far better mobility in avoiding the rush
3-Strong arm
4-Seems to be quite accurate

TJ:
1-Very inaccurate especially when moving
2-Strong arm
3-Feet seem to be "nervous" and doesn't get them set consistently

So Max is the obvious choice, especially due to our lack of protection...

Bama D line will murder TJ. Mobile QBs have always given Saban trouble.
