Last 3 possesions:

Ward steals the ball but misses wild layup attempt.
Cook loses the ball on the dribble.
Wright breaks ankles at the 3 pt line then misses bunny from 5 ft.

Clearly McMahon's fault, amiright Waders?

Well, let's not forget the fact that they had to come back from a 20 point deficit. Yes, LSU had a chance and yes, the loss is still on McMahon.

Ward tried a euro and the fla guy stayed with it. Should have went hard.
And Wright straight panicked when he had time.
Just sucks.
But all 3 guys are part of the reason we had a chance.

We lost the game giving up Offensive Rebs and missing FTs

Why did he even try to pass it to Baker instead of going right to the rim

Rewatching it, it looks like he wanted to kick it out to Cook for a three but Baker jumped into the passing lane. That probably contributed to the awkwardness of the shot. The play was supposed to be a kick-out three.

And I'll say it again, there was time on the clock on the putback, and the Florida defender grabbed Wright's arm. As clear of a foul as there was all night.

Atleast they attempted the 1-3-1 zone. It took Florida scoring 60 points, but they eventually switched to it.

Well just like the Ga push off no call, you ain't getting that call on the road.
Still Wright just choked.
Too bad, that was a great comeback.

This team can win... it's become a mental thing. They got to believe they can win, and not just play the game

I have no hard feeling against them. Wright in particular broke out of a slump in this game. Hope it continues.

Also love the aggressiveness of Ward taking the ball inside. Just needs more muscle to not be afraid of the contact.

Well the ball was in your veteran players hand. Wright just freaked and rushed. Nobody feels worse than him.

loss is still on McMahon

It is. He doesn't instill confidence in the team. Wade would'f won that game, for sure

Players shite the bed late. It sucks.
Fla was clearly the better team, yet we had a chance to steal 1 on the road.
There are no moral wins, just another close loss.

All wins and losses are on the coach but the players have to execute. Wade won as many of those as he lost, more by my recollection. But he also had better players. That is at least partially on the coach for his recruiting. That needs to get better if McMahon wants to be here after next season.
