I didn't watch. Just judging by the threads on the board. Seems like people are happy with him

Stat that really defined this game imo:
MSU: 9 Assists, 21 Turnovers (LSU with 15 steals)
LSU: 12 Assists, 11 Turnovers (MSU with 8 steals)
MSU: 9 Assists, 21 Turnovers (LSU with 15 steals)
LSU: 12 Assists, 11 Turnovers (MSU with 8 steals)

that wasnt exactly a well coached game the last 2 minutes of regulation and 5 minutes of OT
Because you know for a fact exactly what Trent Johnson told the team to do right? Can't possibly be that the players made mistakes?

Oversimplification.

Thats the majority of teams in college bball.
The majority of teams who get top talent year in and year out, sure.
JOB is the only highly acclaimed prep player on this team. Everyone else will be 4-year players; or 2 years for Ham's sake.
Teams without top talent throughout the lineup need experience to compete every game. We're slowly getting it.
I'm already looking forward to next season with an entire starting lineup returning.

I didn't watch the 2nd half and this happens

JOB will be a 3 year player imo... He's talented but still raw, long way to go to be NBA ready for him imo. (That's a good thing for LSU )

And hopefully the guys we have now will stay instead of quitting or transfering.

JOB was great on defense, held Moultrie to 10 points. When he develops the 15 foot jump shot, he will be a very good player. Teams are laying off and giving him that shot right now.

Nothing like snatching victory out of the jaws of defeat!!!

I gave up on them in the first half when they went down 17

That was a nice win. I truly thought they were starting to fold in the first half, but they pulled it out.

Good win for those dudes.
I went to bed before halftime.
