The key is finding the middle ground between accepting there will be times where in a physical game the competitive fire sometimes overflows, but also knowing how to reign it back in instead of fighting like thugs with no regard whatsoever for the situation.

Coaches don't really mind if a fight happens but dissipates pretty quickly. What pisses them off is if a fight happens and keeps going with multiple guys jumping in like they are in a ghettos street brawl. You can dismiss the first instance as guys briefly becoming too competitive. The second instance is guys who can't control themselves. Those are the ones coaches don't trust in games.
