I helped stop the situation while it was in the stands. Once it went to the walkway area I stayed for the game of course.

It all happened when a upset LSU fan told another LSU fan,who was sitting directly behind me, to sit the F*** down. That made everyone upset, including the mans wife after he made the comment, and then the person who was told to sit the F*** down had to calm his friends down because they all got pissed and chaos just begun.

Once everyone started going at it I backed up and just let them do what they wanted.

As a fellow Tiger fan he should have either just stood up the whole time like the rest of us or just politely asked the guy. Funny thing, the guy he cursed out was probably the nicest, easiest guy to get along with. Looked like Kumar off of Harold and Kumar !

ya'll let a random weird guy come up and rub your hair and faces? seriously, that would only happen once.

1) walking to the stadium, saw a drunk 50ish Wisky fan and a drunk 50ish LSU fan screaming at each other on the statue at the Crowne Plaza

2) inside the stadium, saw a drunk 40ish Wisky fan and a drunk 50ish LSU fan almost come to blows in the bathroom line

3) in our section 607, saw a drunk late 20s LSU fan and a sober 50ish LSU fan get into it and almost come to blows. The 20s dude was calmed down by his buddies and they proceeded to ridicule their friend the rest of the game and high five the older guy

4) in our seats I sat next to a two wisky fans and listened to them gloat and then lament the outcome on the field. I never said a word to either of them and they left with 4min left in the 4th

Here's what bothers me: the people who feel like they have to stand to be loud. I understand if everyone in front of you is standing and blocking your view of the game, but if you are the only idiot in the section standing the entire time, well that's just downright disrespectful.

Well as said it happened a few times and luckily all showed restraint but close call and the guy finally went away without anyone getting hurt.
That is why I was curious if anyone saw this clown later!

Section 102. Huge douche Wisconsin fan. Looked and acted like he was on meth. Turned around talking shite entire first half, not even watching the game. Multiple LSU fans went from telling him to turn around and watch the game to "I'll beat your arse". His mommy kept getting in the middle to break it up. His brother must have been on some serious downers because he was just out of it.

Badger got angry when LSU started coming back and got into it with the guy behind him as they had been going back and forth all game. LSU guy was not messing around. "Where's your cheese you fricking f@ggot?!" Flat bill was standing as far back as he could saying, "I'm right here bro." No punches thrown.

By the 4th quarter some little LSU dude about 5 rows back, with one of those Tiger ear head bands girls wear, started tossing individual pieces of popcorn or peanuts and was dead on hitting him. The Tiger Ears dude started taunting him with obnoxious Tigerbait and Ginger chants.

When this kid left, the section clapped for him. He individually antagonized three different guys sitting around him to where friends or wives were holding them back.

In the end, it was worth it to see him leave.

He started by tickling the dude sitting in front of him underarms then rubbing his hair and face; I'm thinking must know him right. Dude turns around like WTF then pushes himback and thought he would get decked then. He starts rubbing next guy hair and then to me rubbing face and hair is when I was about to do something but pushed him away then he goes to row behind in between two pretty big dudes starts this. One was ready to pound him then he leaves to go further up and sat in aisle for a while until chased away! Strange!

Hope it wasn't a Ricin attack.

I am the easiest guy to get along with but if some drunk touched my face, rubbed my hair, or 'tickled' me I think I would have at least pushed him off me hard enough to make him sober up really quick.

There was a lot of people I would guess never stepped foot on campus before - not even for a home game. How did that many of those "fans" make this game?

My friend has tailgated at Packer games for close to 20 yrs, so I believe his take on what their fans are like up there. He said "lumberjack types" not actual lumberjacks. Picture those Wisky OL types, and they are all locals for the most part. I'm looking forward to seeing some of those drunk 20 yr olds from Port Allen types walk up & start some of the shite I saw in the stands this past wkend. And my friend says the G.Bay cops are rivaled only by the Philly cops when it comes time to put a stop to a bunch of drunks' BS.

Had the same 6 tickets in Tiger Stadium since 1971. Started just selling them every year since 2006. Couldn't deal with the drunks around us anymore. Funny thing is I am in the alcohol buisness, lol.

I've got a good friend from here who lives in Milwaukee & he told me after the game that if these drunks try this shite up in Lambeau, they'll get their butts kicked as there are a lot of "lumberjack" type fans up there who fight all the time at Packer games.

Well, that guy was lying. Packer fans are about the nicest fans you could hope to run into at a professional sporting event. I've talked to visiting fans many times, and to a person they've loved the game and the people, who often welcome visitors to their tailgates and give them food and booze.

Of course, the game at Lambeau will be UW fans, which somehow are not completely like Packer fans. You'd think they would be the same and act the same, but they don't.

Edit to add takeaway: There aren't very many fights at packer games. Very fan and family friendly experience.

I am part of the largest tailgating group at SHSU. To be honest, a lot of people are staying home for this game beacause they are afraid of your fans. To me, standing and friendly banter are all part of the game. However, there are times when banter crosses the line. Things got out of hand last year when we visited SELA in Hammond for our playoff game last year. In hindsight though, You should never put the visiting team on the 40 yard line next to the student section. That is just asking trouble. The cops in Hammond ended up arresting about 30 so students, the President of our University who sat behind me got a beer thrown at her. I can honestly say it was like being at a WWE Monday Night Raw. I expect the Tiger Bait this weekend, but if some drunk LSU fan wants to get in my face to prove he is a man, frankly it's not worth it to me and I'll remove myself from the situation. You can have friendly banter, but no need to be a jack neck about it. It's a game!

I get what you're saying (the 'fight all the time' comment), but I think the guy was trying to say that the behavior of some of these LSU "fans" tends to make anybody a lot less nice than they would be otherwise.

You're getting your panties in a twist over nothing. Our fans are, for the most part, very friendly. Our group is NEVER ugly to opposing fans (UNLESS they come looking for trouble). If you're walking around with a chip on your shoulder, some of the younger folks are gonna call ya on it, but otherwise...no problems!!!
