I am part of the largest tailgating group at SHSU. To be honest, a lot of people are staying home for this game beacause they are afraid of your fans. To me, standing and friendly banter are all part of the game. However, there are times when banter crosses the line. Things got out of hand last year when we visited SELA in Hammond for our playoff game last year. In hindsight though, You should never put the visiting team on the 40 yard line next to the student section. That is just asking trouble. The cops in Hammond ended up arresting about 30 so students, the President of our University who sat behind me got a beer thrown at her. I can honestly say it was like being at a WWE Monday Night Raw. I expect the Tiger Bait this weekend, but if some drunk LSU fan wants to get in my face to prove he is a man, frankly it's not worth it to me and I'll remove myself from the situation. You can have friendly banter, but no need to be a jack neck about it. It's a game!
"Eastern Washington destroyed them"

As a SHSU fan, I disagree with your comment. It was a 1 score with 6 min left to play. they scored a lot in garbage time as we turned the ball over trying for the equalizer. However, I have previously posted I would be an idiot not to think LSU wins this one easy. Against your defense, I think we run around 80/85 plays.

I appreciate all the friendly banter already looking forward to enjoying what i would call a check off the old bucket list. As for bedding my wife I have to say that's a big NO NO. However knowing how she can funnel beer, I will gladly put money on my wife if that competition presented itself. Just late 30's early 40's folks who still like to party.

Already have tickets, and I would be an idiot not to think that this game wont be over by halftime. Really looking forward to seeing Death Valley and have a cold one with what I have heard are the craziest college football fans. If I'm not rooting for SHSU, I always pull for LSU. Can't stand the Aggies or UT. I will gladly take care of those who take care of us.

Afternoon Tiger fans. Looking forward to this weeekends game between our two schools. I have a small group (5-6 people) in which we are caravaning from Houston for this weekends game. I'm looking for a tailgate party which I will gladly contribute to as well as take the friendly banter prior to join up with pre-game. Our Alumni Association is doing a luncheon at 2 but, I am 100% confident there are better parties going on in the parking lot than hanging out with our Alumni Association.
