I'd be willing to bet my house that if a convicted felon was ACTIVELY RESISTING YOU BY FORCE....AND ATTEMPTING TO REACH HIS WEAPON IN ORDER TO END YOU LIFE.....YOU would have used deadly force in order to save your own life and the life of your partner. THOSE OFFICERS ALSO HAVE FAMILIES.....AND THEY WERE DOING THEIR JOBS. Sterling caused that situation....and he is deceased due to his own actions. It is a tragedy for all involved.....including the officers.

Which is why I made the statement. Turnabout is fair play. Not to mention it was a valid assessment.....I have NEVER seen a group of people BLATANTLY ignore facts and reasoning in order to further their agenda....like liberal Democrats.

edit: I have ALWAYS stated on this site that if a cop has acted with malice.....he should have to pay the consequences. I DESPISE dirty cops.

My grandfather was a policeman for 40 years and said those police were completely wrong to do that. There is no reason two officers shouldn't be able to restrain someone they already had on the ground but again this is is not what this thread is about.

Respectfully....I don't care if your Grandfather was a cop for 40 years. You were not. And does not matter one bit if there were two officers. He can still pull a trigger!

Can't blame you. In your defense, she's made at least one highly questionable decision in her past...

Again with this stupidity.....He was actively attempting to reach his ILLEGALLY POSSESSED FIREARM! HE WAS A CONVICTED FELON ATTEMPTING TO HARM OFFICERS!!!!!!!!
I didn't see him reaching for his firearm, but since you added 9 exclamation points to prove your point, you're clearly more informed. That, and the fact you're trying to make this a political debate.
Loser.

Liberalism is a mental disorder. Once you digest this fact then it all fits into place.

RAd for anchor or move to Poli-board. This thread has devolved into an embarrassing shite show.

I HAVE been in that situation on several occasions, because I AM in Law Enforcement. We were in a situation with a female during a domestic disturbance. She was followed into her room to grab a coat, but instead grabbed a loaded .38. My partner began wrestling with her to get the weapon, but she was still able to manipulate her hands to turn the weapon.
Thank god the weapon was still holstered, so she could not manipulate the trigger. But if the weapon hadn't been holstered the event could have ended in tragedy for both her and my partner. While he wrestled with her I was able to remove the weapon from her hand, but it was no easy task and it took longer than anyone was comfortable with.
But it illustrates that even with a 260 pound man, strong, wrestling with her....she was still able to manipulate the weapon. That holster is the ONLY reason that this female was not shot.
It only takes a SPLIT SECOND for a suspect to pull the trigger, doesn't matter if two officers are wrestling with them or not
