He was not the coach we wanted. But he may just have been the coach we needed.

Why don't you realize that some of us see positive in a comment that let's us understand that Mr Miles could never separate himself from Sabans shadow. It is a change O made because he wants to embrace it and learn from it. Not bury it and act like it doesn't exist.

Read that entire article if you haven't yet. His attention to detail is amazing and you can tell he's fully aware of past mistakes and won't repeat them.

I know it ended up being a dig, but honestly it was just interesting to see how O has taken even little things about the program and just "made them right".

Read Feldman's book. This is how Orgeron works. This is how he ran the Ole Miss " war room". This level of intensity regarding recruiting is nothing new for Orgeron.

I don't know what's more disturbing, that it happened in the first place or that O had to have Aranda point it out him.

I'm pretty sure O wasn't all "oh shite, really?"

Was just a reminder of how important recruiting that position was.

Well it'd be dumb as shite if we have a picture of our chief rival holding up a trophy in our facility.

So you'd just ignore a major part of LSU history just because the coach at the time coaches at the other school?

Saints won the super bowl in '09, but Harper went to the Panthers for a while, so we'll forget that ever happened.

Not publicize him. How's O going to tell Moses this is the place for him with Saban over O's shoulder lifting another trophy?

Were the Saints battling Harper for recruits?

You think Saban being in the building is suddenly going to make a recruit realize he's a great coach? We may as well embrace the history instead of ignoring all the positives that team gave to this program just because of the head coach. These recruits we battle Alabama for know saban is great whether there's a banner or not.

Who gives a shite? Get over yourself and honor probably THE best season in LSU history. I still watch game highlights from that season, and I still own this DVD.

WGAF that the little elf was the coach? You promote the school and championships, not the coaches.
