More like some people know that just having three returning starters on offense last year may not have painted an accurate picture.
Some may remember the 475 yards of offense he put up against the #2 team in the country. Some may have seen him put up more offensive yards than two coaches/teams known for offenst - Miami and Auburn. And doing that with NO skill position players who had ever started for LSU.

I think If Brady is OC in a year it will mean:
The offense looked really fricking good this year
I don’t think he is learning offensive ID from E. He learned it from Moorhead and Payton and is bringing it to LSU.
Simply put, young offensive minds don’t stick around long. You gotta jump on that train early.
If he’s OC next year I’d assume he knocked it out the park this year.

You’re certainly entitled to your opinion. At least we know O has a history of recognizing coaching talent and making the right hires at crucial times.

They hired an NFL offensive assistant
Sean Payton seemed to think pretty highly of him.
Clemson promotes their RB coach who was a fricking Furman WR coach.
Promoting your WR coach doesn’t seem like too far of a stretch.

I remember the 5 red zone field goals LSU kicked.
How did that offense do agains the #1 team in the country? If they put up nearly 500 yards on the #2 team they must have had about three fifty against the #1 team, imo.

The NFL doesn’t have GAs.
People act like if the Saints need someone to get coffee they need them to coach too.
They have actual office assistants.
And I don’t think the saints needed him to do a Read Option.
Sean McVay was 4 years away from being a quality control coach for the Florida Tuskers when the Redskins hired him at OC. An NFL team.

"Career" GA?
The guy graduated high school in 2008. Then went to college for 4 years.
You try to make it sound bad that he was a CAREER GA when it IS REALLY A GOOD THING that he was hired by a professional football team just 4 years into his very short career.
** Brady signed with the Air Force out of high school in 2008
** He had previously served as a student assistant in between his final game and his hire in July 2013.
** Brady landed at Penn State as a graduate assistant on offense in both 2015 and 2016
** Brady was hired by Sean Payton to join the New Orleans Saints staff in 2017
** Brady becomes the youngest member of LSU’s 10 on-field assistants, checking in at 28 years old

Yes. Career GA. As in he has spent the majority of his very short and unproven career as a grad assistant. And from what I have gathered Brady spent a large amount of his NFL time breaking down film and analysing it. So I would classify him as an analyst for the saints, which is an entry level coaching position. Which is why I said he was the NFL version of a grad assistant. If anyone can provide a link to proving wrong I'd love to see it, because as of now no one can really tell me what he did for the saints. Even Sean Payton himself couldn't say much about what Brady did for him when asked about it yesterday.

Gus Malzahn helped Chizik win a title in 2010 and was runner up in 2013.
He coached high school ball too.
