What a great call by Mike Patrick on the 2006 Laron Landry hit.
"He hit Brodie Croyle on the same blitz last year"
"I bet Brodie still feels it!"

That's the first one I thought of too. Not so much that it was the greatest play. But it's the one I've always said if you want to get a small sense of what peak Tiger Stadium looks like that is the play to watch. Particularly the shot down the LSU sideline with the camera shaking because of the crowd. That 2012 game remains the most frustrating game I've ever watched in Tiger Stadium. LSU dominated the second half. The stadium was electric. It was Mett's best half of football as a Tiger (he was getting beat to shite and kept delivering). A win would have likely put LSU in the SECCG and possibly the National Championship game (which LSU would have won). It avenges the 2011 CG game loss, stops Alabama's back to back championships, and likely keeps LSU right on pace with Alabama
On a side note when watching it again, it would have been called back under today's rules because of Beckham's great crackback block to spring Copeland down the sideline.
My other two:
2. CEH's will and determination to convert a first down against all odds. It was a 6 point game at that point. LSU's offense was struggling a bit and the defense could not stop Alabama. If Clyde doesn't get that 1st down its very possible LSU loses and 2019 looks FAR different. If you are a coach and want to show your players what sheer heart looks like, show that play.
3. The blocked FG at the end of regulation in 2008. As hard as LSU played that game as a prohibitive underdog, it felt like Alabama was inevitably going to hit the walk-off FG to escape with the win in Saban's return...until BLOCKED! Forget the earthquake game. THAT was the single biggest roar I've ever heard in Tiger Stadium. The CBS visuals are great. The block, the roar, Verne's shouts of "BLOCKED! IT IS BLOCKED!" with a shot of the student section going nuts, throwing drinks in the air everywhere
