In all honesty, the long TD run Jefferson had vs Arkansas in 2011

Great moment.

That was maybe the best game Jefferson played at LSU

lebrandon toefield running down the sideline against Tennessee in 2000 is when LSU started its rise up. Lsu has been on a risen level since that play until allevia mishandled getting rid of miles put lsu back down.

If you were not jumping up and down either physically or mentally when Lebandon toefield was running down the sideline Tennessee 2000 then you do not bleed purple and gold.

First time I walked in at the age of 7 with my Dad, and saw that field and heard the crowd and smelled the smells.

1982 LSU - Florida State. Oranges and the fog. Only game ever like that in Tiger Stadium

That was a fun game! The atmosphere was perfect, and that's back when it was still fun.

Favorite moment in Tiger Stadium

Herb Tyler's 2nd TD against Florida in '97. It was at that point we were sure we would win it. I shed a tear or two when the goal posts came down (I was in the South Upper, couldn't get down to the field). And it was extra sweet because I sat through the beating in Gainesville the previous season.

Or when the USCw loss was announced during the '07 Florida game.

I was 25 rows up on East side. My ears were literally in pain from the noise. The place went nuts.

Question depends a lot on a person’s age, but I’m 57 and for me, it was the 1979 LSU vs. USC game. Although a loss, it was by far the most memorable game of all times (for me). USC had like 3 Heisman candidates. LSU had the game basically won as on either 3rd or 4th down and long, USC throws and incomplete pass. There is a flag on the field in the backfield and everyone is surely thinking offensive holding, but for some reason, one of the LSU defenders who was rushing the passer grabbed the qb’s facemask. If you don’t already know the story, you can guess what happened from there. I remember slamming my plastic cup on the aisle steps after LSU's last gasp hail Mary throw was incomplete. But what a scene.
A close 2nd would be FSU game in 1982 when the oranges were flying.

Awh man, I forgot about the 1997 game against Florida when they were number 1. The crowd taking down the goal post and one group went over to the Florida fan area and was kinda jabbing one of the upright's at them was so funny. I guess losing the next week to Ole Miss kinda took some of the luster off of the memory for me.

Rohan to Royal in OT.

Damien James knocking the pass down on the last play by Tenn.

The students were swarming the wall and rushed the field.

That game was THE turning point for LSU for the last 15 years.

I'm a student who didn't get to go to games as a kid, so the Ole Miss game last year was unlike anything I've ever experienced. So much back and forth play the whole game. We moved the ball multiple times only to fumble it away or have Jennings throw a pick.

But you could feel it. This was our game. Our defense looked invincible.

The 12 play 90 yard drive was incredible, but the truly insane moment was when we stopped them on the 4th and 1 sneak around midfield.

Absolute f****** delirium. I've never screamed so much in my life. And finally the Bo pick to bring the game to a end. What a game.

LSU vs #1 FLA in Tiger stadium on 10/11/1997. The Morning Advocate article captured it best (which I have proudly displayed in my office along w some grass from field when goal posts were torn down!): "The Greatest!" Donaldson's pass interception for touchdown and Herb Tyler running thru Fla. defense for touchdown were best moments in that game - along w tearing down goal posts!

However, I wish I would have been in Tiger Stadium for probably the best game EVER played between Fla. and LSU when Hester and Co. refused to quit and converted (I believe) 5 for 5 on 4th downs including game winning score late.

I've been going to the games for 50 years and there's a lot to pull from but one that was the most crazy was probably the announcement that Stanford had beat USC during the 2007 Florida game. Everyone on both sides of the field and both benches absolutely lost their minds for about 3 minutes. That's at least a tie for my favorite moment.

Well - since I was in Tiger Stadium in '59 to witness the Billy Cannon Halloween run, with the subsequent goal line stand to preserve the 7-3 victory over Ol Miss, this one is easy.

I fell in love with LSU in the late 40s when I went to see LSU play North Carolina - Y, A. Tittle vs Choo Choo Justice. First time I had ever been in a real stadium.

Yep - that was my second favorite game for sure.

1982 game vs Florida State. The field was covered with Oranges. I remember the announcer kept trying to get people to stop throwing Oranges on the field. Every time he did more and more oranges would cover the field.
