Marshall Faulk and Ed Reed would be my picks. Warrick is runner up but you can’t blame him given what happened to his mom and where FSU was compared to us with Curly

Reggie Wayne
Marshall Faulk

Warrick Dunn righteous dude I have no animosity towards him at all. He was like that from day 1 of 9th grade at Catholic. One of the best people I've ever met. Never had an enemy in school and never acting like anything other than just one of the guys.
I'm much older but my brother-in-law played football with him. Always said the same thing. I have no problem with any Louisiana guy at the time not going to LSU given Curley Hallman was the coach. What a terrible time for LSU football.

On a basketball note - Robert Parish.
I just searched Wikipedia to read about Parish's college experience. The NCAA royally screwed Parish and Centenary because of some stupid eligibility processes - something about conversion of some form of standardized test that the NCAA didn't accept. The NCAA tried to force Centenary to yank Parish's scholarship and those of a few other athletes. Centenary refused. The sanctions were so severe to Centenary that they were not only excluded from tournament play for 6 years but players' stats weren't even officially kept. This made Parish an "invisible man" in college. Parish showed tremendous loyalty in sticking with Centenary when he could have easily transferred, saying "I didn't transfer because Centenary did nothing wrong. And I have no regrets. None."
I never knew that history about Parish and I was a big Celtics fan in the '80s. I think it is a real testimony about the guy - his faithfulness and the quiet dignity in which he conducted himself.

Josh Booty, the first time around was a double blow. I realize it was for the record signing bonus at the time to go to the show, but still. Would have been a huge contributor on the baseball team as well. Might have won the college World Series in 94 and 95 too lol. Would have loved to see him quarterback that bring back the magic squad.

Yeah, the mailman is nothing but class as well.
I watched him cuss out a little kid at cedar creek for asking for his autograph. He’s a big a hole

Easily Joe McKnight. The guy was unreal in High school. Reggie is to blame for Joe skipping LSU. Was recruited hard by Bush. Seen alot of athletes in person and Joe missed out on a great chance to have had been the best back for LSU in history.
RIP Joe.
RIP Joe.

I guess I could go with either of the Mannings for the impact they would have had (though they'd have extended DiNardo's career), but I will never stop being pissed that we tried to recruit Marshall Faulk as a DB.
frickin idiots.

When they spurn LSU, they're dead to me.

Definitely Landon Collins as my first choice. I still hate/love him. My close second is Dylan Moses, simply because of the storyline.

Eli Manning. LSU was a dumpster fire when Peyton was being recruited plus we were set to sign Josh Booty who was just as good of a prospect at the time. It would have been interesting to see what Eli could have done with Nick Saban and Jimbo Fisher. Wonder if Nick even reached out to the Mannings or they reached out to him.

Don't know if he was offered by LSU. He was a pudgy guy, not very impressive physically. Whoever the Jazz scout was that saw his potential was a very impressive person! Hail to the Mailman!!
