While at a company meeting in Palm Springs,California, my friends thought I was crazy when I asked one of them to tune the car radio to 870 AM to listen to an LSU basketball game. Although it had static, we listened to the game. I also listened while in Erie, PA.

We met a couple at a Kentucky game in the 80's and they lived outside of Pittsburg. At that time it was odd seeing and LSU sticker on a Penns. car. The guy grew up listening to LSU on WWL with his dad. He became a huge fan. He never lived down here or attended LSU. He made it to his first game at Tiger stadium in the late 80s and tailgated with us. It was great seeing his dream fulfilled. He still loves the tigers. This is a true story
wow! very touching

I've listened to a game on the phone with another phone next to a radio with WWL. Probably 5 years ago. It was better than nothing. I have listened to WWL in Florida at night.

Although I listen to WWL on the Internet all the time these days I recall picking up an LSU football game in the vicinity of Sunflower, Arizona a number of years ago while driving north.
