Pointing fingers at everyone else isn't transparency.

well, for one, the offense. He was pretty as a matter of fact explaining how he meddled in it during the Troy game (and maybe the State game).
The only reason he was "transparent" was because we fricking lost to Troy. The week before he said Canada told him that he felt reducing the shifts was his idea. He clearly didnt want anyone to know it was him UNTIL we lost to Troy.

Orgeron does give transparency. When things aren't going right, he wants to make it known that nothing is his fault. And his flunkies on here help disseminate that message.

He's definitely more transparent than Miles. Miles took coach speak to a new level. Orgeron for the most part answere questions truthfully. Honestly, it's often used against him.
We will never know everything that is really going on inside the program.

Oh ok so since he was transparent about doing exactly what he said he wouldn't do, we should be happy.
Some of y'all, man...

It's not that Miles wasn't transparent. It's that he was so inarticulate that no one including the players could understand a damn word he said.

My problem with Miles wasn't transparency as much as it was him no longer being able to articulate an actual response

I will never understand this "transparency" thing.
Like it or not, College Football is a business with the objective to beat the competition. Those reading this who have jobs work for companies that have the objective to beat the competition. Those companies probably meet and discuss how they will beat the competition, but NONE go out in public and announce their plans.
Why should anyone expect any coach to make their advantages, disadvantages and strategies public? Why should any coach open his strategy sessions (practice) open to the public. Private companies don't and that includes the broadcasting companies represented by the media who demand transparency and openness.
Let the local media broadcast their business plans for next year and then ask for transparency.
This. All day. Every day.
I admin. a FB group for a football (soccer) club in the U.K. The idiots in the group bitch about "transparency" just like this, all the freaking time. Quotes like this are lost on people that stupid.
