I wasn’t at the game but obviously noticed this on TV. They left early for the same reason I stopped watching around the end of the 3rd quarter.

We’ve seen this movie before …

If you were in BR and you weren’t there, or even if you live in Houston or Shreveport (etc) and you weren’t there - you have no excuse. Why weren’t you there?

I was working. There have been many weekends where I drive 4 hours for a night game, stay to the final whistle, get home at 3am and up for work at 4:45 am. And you people in BR cry because you're not tucked in before midnight. You shut the frick up. If you live in BR or within an hour drive and can go to all the games you are fortunate. Act like it.

It's a New Millennials & Gen Z crowd , Like or not thats the ones who Dad or grandpa had the tickets and now they do.

They have No desire to achieve anything unless its Given to them, Or stick it out. They just pack up and headout.

Not all are like that, But A lot are ..

Crazy… saw it on tv. Your team is winning close but you leave.

Yeah I’m with Hannigriff 100% here.

If you can’t be bothered to go, especially with COVID stuff, sure.

But last night proved that all of the bullshite excuses people like to bring up are just that, bullshite.

It wasn’t a blowout win.

It wasn’t a boring game.

You were playing quality SEC competition in a close game.

You weren’t losing.

The weather was decent.

And yet people were leaving like we were up 40 against Troy.

For as much people like to say we have a party culture, a lot of frickers seem worried about their bedtime on a Saturday night.

Only thing I’ll say is that it’s not an LSU thing. It’s a general cultural thing as new demographics take primary of the seats. You see it elsewhere too. LSU is just a bit worse, presumably because the stadium keeps getting bigger with no good route to the interstate.

Sorry but kids playing hard, big SEC game that is critical to year and half fans leave early? Watch Aggie fans vs MS St, team is in tank and ranked in too 5 and nobody left! Sorry tired of excuses so sad but LSU is nit nearly best stadium or fan base vs most sec schools anymore

I see Nebraska games and their fans pack the stadium every home game. They haven't been relevant in 20 years but yet they come and support their team and stay to the finish. True fans. LSU fans are overrated. Sorry to say but it's true. I've been invited by friends in Omaha to attend a Nebraska home game. I'm going to see true fans of their team for the Purdue game in late October.

If I'm there, I'm there till the final buzzer. But these folks pay good money to leave whenever the hell they want.

Fans left at half time with Tigers leading. Piss poor fans in yellow sideline seats. They are not real fans. I’m 70 and stay till the clock runs out win or loose.

For those saying it was late, the time of the game and the average length of a college football game was not a mystery heading into last night.

It is people's right to do what they want, but it is quite odd to go through all the trouble to go and then leave 1-2 quarters early. It's like going to a movie and leaving 30 minutes before it ends. Seems rather pointless, but I realize some peoole like to just get out and about for a bit.

I understand this point of view and will add that you just have those type of fans out there. I see it at Auburn also. You will have 30-40K people show up to tailgate with little or no desire to even go to the game. Some will go in late or leave at the half.

Some have a long drive back home, church tomorrow and so on. Some have been tailgating since 10am and are worn out.

Eating, drinking and generally partying at the tailgate since 7am had nothing to go with it?

There were way more than 60k

The lower bowl was full 78k
Both upper decks 3/4 full 20k

It’s bad enough without people exaggerating

That’s why you are a bad poster

Get you facts straight

Never thought I’d here lsu fans complain about a night game

Before tv became so prevalent all games at lsu started at 7:30 then moved to7:00 to help sportswriters meet deadline

Be honest this new generation of tiger fans are soft and entitled
