We were in a line of steady moving people. That is the only thing that I had time to ask him. Sorry! It took 5 hrs of standing in line to get the few pics that we could get. My wife wanted to shop a little when we got in the building which took about 20 minutes. We could have been way up front in the line but it was out first fan day and we didn't realize what a mistake we were making.

I wasn't there last year but the crowd was huge. Some of the lines were so big, I am not sure they got autographs when the thing ended at 5 PM. We left at 4:45, we were in line for the defensive line and I realized that we weren't going to make it by 5 so we left.

If you ask me, I think LSU should make this into a more formal affair and charge 100 bucks per person - while offering free food from several restaurants, booze for adults, and more fun activities for the children. It's not about LSU making money, here, but at least thinning out the crowd and letting the diehards/rich pricks get inside and enjoy.

I would pay this in a heart beat, but I think it is against NCAA rules for LSU to charge admission to an event that involves the players (other than games of course).

I found it alot more organized this year than last. Since they put all the position players on the same table, you were able to get more autographs. (I got 24 this year, LB's & WR's).

It was also smart for them to open up the arena for the defense this year. Last year, you could not tell which line was which.

They should make it purely for kids, I know I am probably in minority here about that though.
I mean I went one year with young cousin and will never go back because so many adults were attempting to get autographs.

I bet if I went online to ebay right now I can find a lot of the stuff with LSU players autograph on it because people are trying to make a quick buck.

Kids get more joy out of meeting these players they idolize anyway so make it for them.

All 4 of the QB's are really nice in person. I have had a chance to meet each one of them among other players over the years.

If he went to meet Lee I bet he told him to check out this site though.

I use to sign for the players. Kids don't know the difference.

The highlight of our trip was when all of the kids were in line wating to get a pic with a few of the golden girls. A kid in front of us -12-13(?) yrs old, got up there to take a pic, and had to grab his crotch, and shuffle off. Little guy copped a stiffie. My group went ballistic..

To all those folks who had to wait in line for an autograph, you should call ahead and set up a one-on-one meeting with Les and each player.

Rantards bitching about waiting in line with over 6000 in attendance- typical.

if you get to the line with 4,000 people ahead of you, just get out of it and get others autographs

why waste the entire time?

Did anyone else see the big guy in the yellow shirt with 4 duffel bags full of sh*t for the players to sign? Enough is enough! When does LSU get some control over these idiots?

Yes I was that guy you are talking about. So why don't you worry about yourself and know the facts before you post stupid comments. So for your info which I don't have to, I will explain myself. I was there with my wife, my mother who was getting something for my dad, and my three children. Yes I had 4 blue bags, but what was in them was full size game used helmets from the 2007 National Championship game that I had 6 of those that I purchased last year from LSU for 300 a piece that I purchased at fan day that I was getting those individual players to sign for ME!!! I had my wife get a full size team helmet signed of the 2009 team, and my 3 KIDS where each getting them a football signed for them. So yes it took 4 bags to get it up there and none of my stuff is for sale of does it go on Ebay it is for my 1200 sq foot man room musuem that I have that is for everyone to enjoy, for your info. So I don't need to hear your bull shite are anything else for if you don't know the facts then don't speak of others! You got it!!!!!! For I don't speak of you or your wife or that you are an arse, so don't speak of me and call me out idiot. Just worry about yourself, for I was being a GREAT father that I am I was carring all my kids stuff with mine for them. Glad you know the FACTS now. If anyone else needs any more info about me and what I was doing with it all I will have a press conferece tonight. HAVE A GOOD DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Yes I'm sure your little 3 yr old daughters really wanted lsu gear. Why didn't you take them to see Barney if you're such a good father. I bet you play dungeons and dragons in your "museum" too don't you?
