You mean O'Connor?

He gets more out of that than Dunn telling him to throw strikes.

Yeah. O'Connor is so well respected as a pitching coach right now that agents are telling their clients to either decommit from UVA, transfer out, or not even commit to them in the first place because of how bad they are at developing pitchers and how often they injure guys.

Yeah, that's the ticket.

2 inning fall scrimmage is worth 10 times more than all those games with Team USA. Didn't you know?

Fall Practice responses are the best

Hitting dominating = Pitching will be fricked

To be fair it does make it difficult to get a reading on the team which is what I image most here or trying to do, futile or not. The scrimmage with uno is interesting. Have they done that before?

No. First year NCAA is allowing to fall scrimmages vs. another team. Arranged with UNO due to PM's relationship with Blake Dean.

It does. The most important thing is for the guys to get reps and stay healthy.

The scrimmage is a new rule by the NCAA this summer.

For example if Beloso doesn't hit a HR all fall, people will question his power. The HR has got to come off someone from the same roster which is unfortunate because then the attention gets turned to pitcher and why he allowed a HR.

Was Garza’s hit a HR?
Did he get hurt on hit or in catching duty?

His wasn't a HR.

But Scuba will have to answer question 2.

After all the scoring on the gold pitching staff, anyone else surprised Moffitt put up this line?

3 innings of no hit, no runs

Guess he read your post, he has retired from LSU baseball, which really isn't surprising with all of his injuries the last 2 years.
Thanks for being a Tiger, Bryce.

Garza was hurt behind the plate. He got up favoring his left knee and walked off without assistance.
