if they were the two obvious best teams in the USA I would be delighted to watch and happy to root for Stanford to beat your duck-arse,
just like I do every season.

Keep in mind, the BCS is not about finding out who is the 2nd best team, but rather who is the 1st best team.

Wrong. The purpose of the BCS was/is to put the two best teams into a championship game.

why punish the Tigers -- rest of country should pull for LSU to win to uphold the integrity of the BCS

I agree. I think OK State was dissed. Don't blame Les Miles, though. He didn't make the decision.

Damn this is some worthless shite right hear. What Les said has no bearing on whose in this game. After the Nov. 5th game, he said it'd be an honor to play Bama again.

This year, our coach didn't have to say shite about whose in/out of the game.

No one is fixing the system, it's just that the SEC kicks everyone elses asses.
Your team had back-to-back shots and lost.

The real fix would be if the BCS voters would have been more worried about TV ratings than matching the two best teams.

Bama could beat anyone in the country and LSU could beat them all and beat Bama too.

when the rest of the country becomes relevant in college football we will let you and your bloggers know...

IDGAF 18 million dollars is 18 million dollars. Tv Share is not our problem.

If I could not connect to either school I may not watch the game, not out of boycott but just lack of interest in the teams.

How could 2 teams from one of the weakest BCS conferences play for the title? You PAC 12 guys need to get over being inferior to the SEC. We have won 5 titles in a row and at least with 2 SEC teams one will lose in the championship game.

What more does the SEC have to prove?

2003- We beat big 12 in title game.
2006- Florida beat big 10 in title game.
2007- We beat big 10 in title game.
2008- Florida beat big 12 in title game.
2009- Alabama beat big 12 in title game.
2010- Auburn beat PAC -12 in title game.

SEC> everyone else.

What four teams from another conference can match what we have accomplished?

Well that is how the nation feels. And there will be massive boycotts, just you wait. I have already been speaking much with blog editors from the Big Ten, Big 12, PAC-12, ACC, and all parts of the country. Watch and see no one tune in to watch your earned Title game...

Get outta here with that shite. Do you seriously believe that shite. So you believe people will watch Michigan vs VT and WVU vs Clemson and not watch the BCS title game LSU vs Bama(clearly 2 best teams) on a Monday night, yeaaaa riigggggghhht.

Question Ducks fans should be asking is when will we ever be good enough to beat a good SEC team??

Uhhhh...

I want LSU to beat Bama more than OSU as well, but....

It appears as though this is exactly what happened.

If you think college football fans aren't going to watch the BCS Championship because their team isn't in there, or their conference isn't in there then there is no reasoning with you. This game will get around the same number of viewers as every other BCSNCG gets.

Want to stop the SEC from playing the SEC in the game? Win. I sit here thinking that OSU let Bama in by losing to Iowa State. That Stanford let Bama in by losing. We did what we had to do to keep Bama out, the rest of the country did not. Want someone to blame? Try the other teams who lost one game, but lost to an inferior team. Only one of the one loss teams lost to a superior team, and like it or not that was Bama.

I am sure for Ok St, probably is the key word.
FWIW

note:
ESPN and the polls have been billing AL as the #2 team from the git go...they wanted LSU-AL game because of HUGE audience on Nov 5

but at season's end, if you actually look at the "body of work", Ok St has a very valid case.

no way Les wants to play Alabama again, or thinks they are deserving, but do you really think he'd say it? Not when he doesn't get much say on whether they are the opponent.

Are you a bammer ALTER or did you work for ESPN..cause you hit all their talking points.

A loss is a loss. But if you want to dive into it on behalf of gumps everywhere make sure you dont leave out the entire picture.

Bama had 2 weeks to get ready for LSU. 2 weeks. This game was hyped as the Game of the Century......both teams knew what was at stake. LSU beat them at home. 9-6. They were the #2 team...poised to be #1 but they blew it.
