Miles said he would be honored to play Alabama again if they are voted BCS number 2, but I am sure he would be honored to play anyone. I as a tiger fan think we should play someone else, but I would welcome the opportunity to play anyone for the title.

The only way for this to pan out fairly is LSU has to forfeit the SEC Championship game.

You're preaching to the choir....Les Miles only said he would be honored to play Alabama again. I don't think that makes him a hypocrite. Does Bama deserve another shot....not as far as I'm concerned.

I for one do not want to see a rematch. We have nothing more to prove where they are concerned, but they have everything to gain. But to call Les Miles a hypocrite is ridiculous. What do you expect him to say when asked about a rematch?
"Oh no, I don't want to play them again. I'd rather play someone else."
He gave the most diplomatic answer.
Come on man - enough of this shite.

Recently Les Miles has changed tunes and become a hypocrite in saying he would welcome facing Bama again for the title in a rematch. He has lost a lot of respect from many who remember him saying that maxim but now being a hypocrite...
Les wasn't being a hypocrite, he was being smart. So if LSU has to play Bama again for the BCS championship, and he is on record saying that Bama shouldn't get in, how does that make him sound? The answer is scared, and Les isn't afraid of anybody!

who gives a shite?
as long as im watching and as long as LSU wins is all that i care about
i really dont give 2 craps if someone from oregon doesnt like the match up
and im pretty sure oregon had a chance but they a) already lost to LSU, and b) shite the bed against USC
so, sorry but i really dont care what the rest of the country thinks or what the "ratings" are

all around the country and it is very clear the rest of the nation does not want to see SEC vs SEC for the BCS Title game
Well then why do Coaches, AP, and Harris voters from around the country continue to vote Alabama #2?

The nation thinks it is corrupt to match such a monopoly. And there is a certain Coach from LSU who does agree with this thinking, Coach Les Miles, perhaps you have heard of him... Back in 2007 he was working the media to swing votes to get LSU in the title game. And to do so he gave a maxim saying, "If a team cannot win their Conference they are not worthy to play in a BCS Title game." Recently Les Miles has changed tunes and become a hypocrite in saying he would welcome facing Bama again for the title in a rematch. He has lost a lot of respect from many who remember him saying that maxim but now being a hypocrite...
He is saying it doesn't matter who his team plays, he is up for any matchup. Much better than whining like a pussy about a rematch, which is what goes on here all to much.

The whole nation already thinks the SEC gets a auto entry into the Title game. Now with walling off all other Conference teams from getting a chance at LSU, the nation will feel this is very corrupt. SEC vs SEC already happens in the regular season. And such a monopoly for the title game will cause all but the deep South to completely tune out the Title game.
Don't forget about the national champion runner up, your darling ducks, who were murdered.

Imagine for a moment Oregon and Stanford being voted to play for the title. How would you all feel if that occurred? Well that is how the nation feels. And there will be massive boycotts, just you wait. I have already been speaking much with blog editors from the Big Ten, Big 12, PAC-12, ACC, and all parts of the country. Watch and see no one tune in to watch your earned Title game...
If they were as good as us, no problem, but it's not even close. See above

Les is just saying "bring it on," not "I agree with the BCS."

Shouldn't you post this on the Bama board?
Personally, I think a rematch is BS also, but we'll beat whoever they put in front of us!
All those teams you keep mentioning that don't think Bama should be in the title game...maybe if they would stop losing games Bama wouldn't be.
As for your Stanford / Oregon example, maybe if their conference had won the last 5 titles that would be a better example.
Lastly, If my Tigers win another BCS title I couldn't care less if the score in 2-0 and 95% of the country decides not to watch it!

I have sat back and watched long enough. I actually would like a football playoff.
One minus on my side. It would help everyone but the SEC because you guys sucks. There, I said it. FU.
