You mean Nuss will have a package who you people think Underwood is Pee Wee Herman . If you think Trump is God which most of you do well Underwood is God you have three years of Vince Young with twice the mental compactly .

I think Underwood should come in and run the ball occasionally. Why not. He’s an amazing athlete.

Why would Underwood not be on campus?

about $10M reasons, which is absolutely absurd and eventually, sooner rather than later, will be the downfall of College Football.

The head coach job at Michigan is not stable , you think Underwood will like having five pass attempts a game , you think you build a passing attack in six months . Contrary it’s not just about the money it’s about the Legacy.

The people that think that Underwood won't make it to campus just aren't paying attention. Better chance that Nuss goes to the draft - Mel Kiper has him as his 4th best draft eligible QB currently.

Underwood's legs aren't his best attribute. While he is mobile, his HS stats suggest he's not JD5. It's his arm that makes him special.

Underwood is a complete QB

but if you are bringing in a backup QB it usually because he gives you an option to run the starter doesn’t.

we’re just seeing the generation of athletic QBs who grew up watching Mahomes and not Mike Vick.

You don't think Brian Kelly won't shop the transfer portal for someone better?

Kelly intentionally didn't shop the portal knowing Nuss was all he had. He even stated as much. "We are happy with what we've got"

Absolutely. My point was just don't assume he can run like JD5 and can make a crappy OL look good. JD5 is damn near a unicorn when talking about is ability to run. And I don't just mean his speed.

Definitely should be using a wildcat change of pace offensive set. Which I think I saw them do once with that flow Joe Freshman they moved to running back. I know I butchered his name. But I’m dictating this!

He won’t be as effective as JD5 improvising and just routinely needing containment in speed,

but we also gave JD not that many designed runs because scrambling was considered an extension of the run game.

that being said, you’ve seen what having a option game does to defenses

The run game is all about numbers and making defenses account for the QB is a killer.

I think Nuss is not a QB that fits what Kelly wants to do on offense. That's not going to change over the off-season.

I think he'll declare for the NFL draft or transfer out, because there is risk that he could be sitting behind Underwood and that would be detrimental to him financially.

He should definitely have a package next year without a doubt. Perriloux was awesome as a change of pace running that option getting his feet wet in 07 regular season then was able to step in and whip UT to get us to the NC game. Underwood will be even better because his heads screwed on straight and he's focused.

The 07 Flynn/Perrilloux combo is a good analogy, and Underwood is probably ready to hurt opposing teams with his arm more than Perrilloux was. I think they can both be effective with a bevy of talented WRs, TEs and RBs around them.
