Exactly. It’s not the counting stats, it’s the efficiency and big plays.

This is a dumb arse post. If the defense could get consistent stops Jayden would get the ball even more and put up even crazier numbers.

Lincoln Riley has never coached in the SEC. I remember what Burrow and Co. did to him in the playoff. LSU had 49 points at half. What Daniels is doing in the SEC is incredible.

It's not like the 2019 defense were world beaters either. You have to score to win, the game has been made offensive for entertainment. Don't minimize these kids want to win. Florida, like FSU, Ole Miss, and Bama had to score high for a reason... defense is not the defenses of old. You guys speak out of emotion instead of logic.

I’m not sure there is a perfect comparison tbh. Jayden Daniels is a MUCH better CFB player than Vick was, and he was great. I honestly can’t really settle on anyone that combined elite passing AND running ability the way Daniels does.
Not only do I think he’s a 1st rounder, I think he has a good chance to become the best NFL QB of this loaded class.

I mean, if they averaged over an astonishing 8.1 ypc like Daniels, they'd have a lot more carries too. He actually only has about 25 more carries than Williams, but has 700 more rushing yards than him.

Definitely. Having one of the best QBs in college football is always bad for winning titles.
