Great win! But another bullpen meltdown!!! They looked like they were throw batting practice.
Anyone know how many pitches Alsup threw tonight because we will need him on Sunday.

NO, I'm along time fan(since '89) season ticket holder('90)been to Omaha twice. Call it like I see it. WE got lucky. If you freaking Les miles loving homers can't see that your FREAKING blind. Great effort by the kids. They bailed out Mainieri's arse. Sometimes you win because of coaching.Sometimes you win in spite of it.Today it was the latter.

I've been a Tiger fan 30 odd years longer than you but it wouldn't matter if I saw my first game today.(I'm in L.A. btw). Good, well-coached players tend to make their on good luck. Good baseball fortune plays into many games, especially between evenly-matched teams. The Tigers gutted one out today and I was damn proud of them. Not sure what's up with M.O.. Sure would be nice to be able to count on him again.

I am but its aggravating when someone gets told to go frick themselves because they make a logical point.

In all fairness, he's not being told to frick himself b/c he made a logical point, it's b/c he barely waited until the game was over to post. Posters are still enjoying the amazing come-from-behind-1inning win, and here's someone posting about how everyone should be down about the win. If he'd waited a decent amount of time, I would hazard a guess that people would have been a little more receptive to some (though not necessarily all) of his points.

It's aggravating when someone barely let's the paint dry on the win and they're shitting all over it. It comes across as though they're more concerned about being negative than being 'logical' IMO...not saying it's the case, but that is the perception.

Really. You think it was a good move to bring Ross back in? Or to bring Berticinni back? Or to have your DH bunt, twice. WTF. Ok ,Ok I was half lit and Pissed that poor coaching almost cost us the game.So much so that it was hard to enjoy the win. The big mistake was deciding to vent on a forum full of juvenile arse holes.

we were out hit by a solid baseball team on the road, and thanks to the heart of Watkins, we still found a way to win. Only a true douche would bitch about that.

I'll take luck on our side everytime.

The next game is a must win, and we need about 8 Innings out of Ranaudo.

On this, I agree, so I assume you will not post again and allow the juvenile assholes to savor this come from behind win.

Thank you.

com'on guys.
TB69 admits he was lit.
that means drunk.
and probably alcoholic.
and probably 330 pounds of jaba like wrinkled fat like elleshoe and the other negative posters who have chosen the dark side.

TB69 will probably be all happy and cheerful tomorrow after the hangover.

Besides, if you really want to look for faults, there are many besides the "said" coaching "mistakes". If you ask me, Gibbs was a total chump in the 9th. He waved at the passed ball, and watched a third strike (I think) - not the way you want a team leader to respond in the clutch.

HR was big earlier in the game, obviously. My point is that PM obviously has done some very very very good things, and you really never know how a kid is going to react in a given situation, so it's easy to second guess after the fact. If Gaudet gets the bunts down, he's a genius because nobody sees it coming. The Eaters would have been hitting Roy Halladay in the late innings today - they were seeing it, and everyone went to the plate confident - hitting is contagious.

The Tigahs are fine - moving on in the winner's bracket. Lucky? Maybe. Winners? Deinitely!

Dude, did you see what the other pitchers in the bullpen did? There is a very good reason he tried to get as much as he could.

LSU fought back twice with two outs and nobody on facing te loss. We might not have pitched well. But, this team fought and earned this victory...it wasn't luck.

I'm usually just a lurker and like to read all the posts, but when someone starts such a stupid thread with a idiotic title...I just have to say something.

First of all, I don't agree with your post at all. But I do agree that you've got to either be drunk or a complete Moron!

How do you call winning the game luck? The guys NEVER gave up, kept getting hits when they needed them. Gillespie had the outfield playing in and Watkins hit the ball over the RF's head. How is that luck? If we had a couple of more good pitchers, NO ONE could beat us.

GEAUX TIGERS! Kick some California arse!

Before "we got lucky", we had to be close enough for the luck to count AND we had to have the "never give up" attitude. This wasn't craps.
