Has anyone heard from him? Will he come out and defend this statement?

Idk maybe Eyanson has multiple filthy strikeout pitches whereas Cowan only has a filthy changeup. Which has proven to be plenty enough so far.

If we were to be completely honest, we've all had good takes and bad takes, and we've all been right and wrong about certain players.

I was one who didn't think much of Eyanson early on, and I had my doubts about him being an effective starter in the SEC. Certainly not to the extent of the OP, but I was still wrong.

On the other hand, when LSU football was touting the new-and-improved running game that would be the foundation of the offense, I posted last August that LSU would have trouble running the ball consistently, and that it would still be a "pass first" offense if they were going to be successful.

One poster raked me over the coals, posting five or six VERY long replies telling me why I was wrong and had no "self awareness."

Moral of the story? We're all going to be wrong at times, but it's a much softer landing if you express something as just an opinion rather than a cold hard fact and then doubling down on your stupidity.

Short, pitchability righties with excellent command of multiple pitches. That’s the kind of the same part.

Eyanson throws harder.

The other stuff you mentioned is in the area that isn’t covered in the “kind of the same” part. I don’t think they’re clones. I think they’re kind of the same. Especially in the context of this pitching staff, which doesn’t have a ton of pitchability guys.

Eyanson absolutely higher ceiling and overall better, but they’re from similar molds.

Yes. People who make absolute statements in February of baseball season will be proven wrong much more often than not. But some of these emotional bitches can't help themselves.

There’s a checklist when it comes to speaking negatively about a player, and if Eyanson was your target in March, you failed just about every part of the checklist. Therefore you get the “don’t know ball” treatment.

In what way?

My apologies; it's a good comparison. For some reason I thought you were referring to C Ware.
