Thankfully, no. I think that is why the offense is enjoyable to watch for the first time in 3 years...

Yeah, lets wait and see how effective it is before deciding if it's a negative or positive.

We heard this Wild Tiger notion spouted here for the last 2 years. How many times did it actually happen? What makes anybody think it will start happening now? And if it did, what makes anybody believe it would take JJ to pull it off when we have other backs perfectly capable of leading that same hypothetical play from Les and Stud's Secret Playbook.

You are correct Elleshoe. Having JJ available in case of injury to JL can't hurt. He will assume JL's role of last year. Put him in when u need him.

Should the outrageous number of sacks he took be ignored?

YES

He won't be in there to pass. He'll be in there to run. There won't be sacks.

I don't understand why this is so hard to comprehend.

..but teams won't expect us to pass so JJ will never take another sack.

he's going to get snaps. running the ball and only passing like we did on the Perrilloux throw against VT is better than letting him sling it isn't it?

if he's in there exclusively to run, then he's like the 5th best option

Lsu is doing great without JJ..right now...why disrupt it...he brings nothing to the team right now but chaos..LSU is 4-0...with one of the best chances of winning a NC...why is one person wagging the dog...unbelievable..

Yeah, because he's proved his effectiveness in the red zone

Thanks for letting your personal biases against JJ under crowtons tutelage show instead of having an intelligent conversation about football strategies and the negatives of having an added dimension in specific situations. I can bring up Jarrett Lees pick six year but I dont because it has no relevance to this year.

but there's still the threat of the fake option pass like RP had against VT

You are being such a rantard.

Jefferson will be in there to run, therefore there won't be any sacks.

If we do choose to let him throw it (which should be a once or twice a season thing), then receivers will be open.

But he will be in there strictly for running purposes 95% of the time. And like I said, this is only if we continuous struggle in the red zone. If we do well in the red zone, then he shouldn't play.

it was a fricking duck and it worked because it was a surprise. Similar to how I see any passing attempts from JJ being this year...

none because I don't think it would have been such a shock since JJ didn't have nothing but 15 runs in all games combined before
