I believe LSU can handle Clemson. How does the gauntlet this team has gone through gives any expert reason to doubt LSU? I do not see it myself.

Delpit will be the deciding factor - if he plays well and handles the open field tackles out of the backfield
Delpit vs Etienne will decide the game on defense.

Lawrence had 259 yards and 2 TDs vs Ohio State.

53 of those yards and the first TD came on this 1 yard pass to TE.

34 yards and the second TD came on this 8 yard pass to TE.

take those 2 next-level passes away and the amazing Trevor Lawrence had 172 yards with 0 TDs.

Giving Venables two weeks to prepare

They gave up 500+ yards to Ohio St.

I think LSU has a better offense. Clemson's game plan better be focused on scoring 40+ points if they want to win.

Clemson is well coached for sure on defense. They will be as prepared as they can be, but tOSU ran up and down the field on them. They got pushed around at the line. They got little rush with their front four.

Their CB's are decent, one safety is good but one safety and both middle LB's and for that matter all four DL are average at best. 4.7 slow guys.

I expect Joe and Joe to exploit the middle of the field with draws, checkdowns, mismatches with Moss and LSU will put up 40-60.

Their offense is really not that special. Run, Pass, Pass. They love to run counters, and our LB's and safeties need to be ready to stay in their lanes. They do not run a fast, up tempo spread that might give us trouble, they rely on the run alot and when that gets stuffed they are a bit lost offensively.

Our D Line is stout as hell with Shelvin at 346, Lawrence at 310, etc. We will clog it up. Can Travis get to the edge? Queen and Stevens are fast enough to stop the outside runs, I think. But even if they break a few, they will not score over 40, and thats what it would take to win.

It’s Barrett Sallee. It’s literally not worth the click.

Dear god I hope they move their linebacker to deep safety vs Joe Burrow.

Game will be over at half

1. Experience at this point is negligible. Players for both teams have plenty by now.

2. Ensminger and Brady also have 2 weeks to prepare. This ain't the Les and Cam Show, ladies.

3. Clemson has played only a couple of decent offenses all season. They didn't stop Ohio State. The Buckeyes failed to execute, especially in the red zone.

LSU, admittedly had some God-awful games earlier in the season. The only thing that matters is how they've played since.

LSU defense is giving up less than 13/game in its last four games.

It should be a fun game, but LSU just has too many weapons on offense.

Meh, Brady Quinn, Reggie Bush, & Urban picked LSU while Lienart (sp) went Clemson. Who cares? Talking heads gonna talk & opinions are like assholes.

Every person I’ve seen pick Clemson hasn’t pointed to any tangible on field reasons

Experience? Sure it’s nice but it doesn’t win games. I guess LSU doesn’t have any big game experience this year?

Two weeks to prepare? LSU has the same two weeks

Defense wins championships? That’s what UGA said too.

I want someone to show me the actual on field matchups and how/why Clemson has the advantage in each.
