Wouldn’t it be funny if this executive order made Trinidad Chambliss ineligible?

That would be great, but it won't directly since it is simply asks the governing bodies to place rules around eligibility.

No you are ignorant about the powers of the executive branch, and if anyone is being brainwashed by the "media", it would be fools like yourself who must think Faux News is a news source alongside the other ultra-rightwing propaganda sites.

Lmao brah you are so blinded by hate and your "articles" you are off the rails

The Executive Order doesn't assume any power over any judicial ruling or Congress.

I was hoping you would inform yourself instead of relying on feaux news or whatever you are rambling about but alas here we are.

His attempts to assign new powers to himself haven’t been working out too well lately. I doubt this will go well either.

He could sign an executive order that I have to cut my grass 7 days a week

And if he's paying your light bill you'll cut it.

I’m sure he already knows this won’t work out in court but that’s not the point. This is just a desperate attempt to get some PR points during a midterm election year where it’s not looking good for him.

Then you can ignore his order. Can public universities ignore Trump's order?

Oh so we shifted from he's assigning power to himself to now election stunt.

Cool moving the goalposts. Typical..So typical.

If some of you would just attempt to learn what is really going on here you might just realize he's asking for what EVERYONE wants.

The governing bodies of college sports to put rules around the recent changes. That's all this is. But you have been groomed to hate so much you can't handle the truth

Have you tried reading the text? It's mostly a demand that issues be addressed backed by a fairly direct threat on funding.

Kind of like the Court should have had no authority to get involved with private individuals and the contracts they sign to play college football before NIL. No one was forcing anyone to play college football before but if you did you played for free at least by rule. Yet here we are and here is NIL

I need the whole thing, twice. So he's not asking Universities to do anything is he? Except follow the rules put in place by the governing bodies, not the President.

He's asking the governing bodies of college sports to put rules around college athletics.

If public Universities break the rules the governing bodies put in place there could be repercussions in terms of federal funding.

Seems reasonable af.

Honestly, I like President Trump and support him wholeheartedly but I think, he should focus on transferring all these foreigners who are in this country out of the country first...this included all the illegal and all the those on phony alphabet soup visas....he should also make a compelling case for ending birthright citizenship, ending citizenships via marriage, diversity lottery, and ban visas from all asian, african and south american countries

It’s certainly needed; they let this BS go on long enough.

they didn’t play for free. Players got their entire college education paid for, and got to use billions of dollars worth of facilities, coaching, training, nutrition, tutoring, and massive exposure under the university’s brand. That’s extremely valuable.

No way would this stand in court.

The one time transfer isn’t going to work unless you carve out for fired coaches letting any of those guys transfer.
