Bottom line is NOT that LSU has to play the games and win the games.
The bottom line is that LSU has to play and win AND make it extremely painful for The SEC offices to continue to screw LSU on schedules, bowl games, game dates (that screwy Thanksgiving day game) .
The SEC office finds no issue with packing their office decision-makers with Bama loyalists. They find no issue with BRAZENLY screwing LSU and delicately rolling out the red carpet for Alabama. I know and respect that many of you have a sense of competitiveness that wants to just say "screw it-we'll beat em anyway". Others honestly don't understand the BAMA-CENTRIC CORPORATE CULTURE OF THE SEC OFFICES and don't want to believe that it's integrity has been compromised. I get that. Nobody wants to argue their case from a vantage point of weakness that exposes oneself to the ridicule of The football Establishment that is perfectly fine with ignoring or minimizing the schedule.
The ONLY way this changes is by letting the League offices know we expect better, and holding them accountable PUBLICALLY. I applaud Alleva and Miles for FINALLY taking this one on head-on.
Now let's go beat the living shite out of Georgia, Florida, Bama and the rest of em.
Very well worded, as usual.
I'm not as kind and PC as you are to the "screw it" crowd. And I actually think their attitude is a result of actual insecurity, and that they reguarly take it up the arse in every aspect of their daily lives.

You pussies at Bama were complaining about bye weeks, much less swapping out opponents. GTFO you troll bastard.

Most Bama fans on the RANT are very upset at how the SEC has manipulated the Bidge Schedule in favor of our Crimson Tide, but we are powerless to change it.
We will have to suffer through another cupcake bridge schedule just like the first one--damn the SEC schedulers.

Imagine if, for the last 50 years, the SEC headquarters were in New Orleans, the schedule maker, head of officials, and other high ranking officers in the league were LSU alumni, and a holding penalty had been called on TJ Yeldon's game winning td in Tiger Stadium last season, costing Bama the W....oh wait, Bama fans wouldn't complain. Only LSU fans bitch.

In the end, this is what Gump argument always devolves to.
Overwhelmed by facts they fall back on 4'th grade "debate" tactics.
It's Pitiful that anybody here ever took you seriously enough as to engage you.
My mistake.
I won't do it again.

0-8=pussies , Aubie.
LSU has always , or was , my second favorite SEC team, but Les Miles has instituted a pacifier mentality.

Things that make you go hmmmmm....These gumps don't even need our help making our argument.

^i know that's bama math, but still funny.

Also, I saw in some responses to this post that the SEC Headquarters being in Birmingham give Alabama and Auburn an advantage. The HQ has been in Birmingham for 65 years. How does this possibly give Alabama and Auburn an advantage? Wouldn't that mean that Alabama and Auburn should win at least the SEC championship every year?

Why are y'all still letting these same 3 Bama fricks troll y'all?

Good point. The scheduling bias is obvious to anyone who isn't willfully ignorant (or just plain ignorant.)

Lighten up Francis.
Just trying to make the point that the "IF game" can take you to any conclusion you wish to reach.
What would be your solution to 1) the schedule and 2) the SEC HG?
Posted on 7/25/13 at 5:11 pm to CrimsonTideMD
My solution is to rotate all 3 cross division games, staggering 2 game home and home series with each. Each year one rotates off and a new one rotates on. Over a 4 year career a player would have a chance to play at every sec stadium. Set up a rolling rotation so there's no cherry picking opponents.
If bama /ut or Au/Uga aren't set to play but want to keep their rivalry game, they can play it as an out of conference game with no bearing on sec standings.
Too easy not to do.
Or plan B like spurrier wants, only count division record to determine division winner. I don't like this as much bc it still has the permanent opponent, meaning teams might go 6+ years without visiting certain sec venues which I think is a major flaw. The various road stadium atmospheres is what makes the sec great.

That sounds good for the division set up we have now, but I would like to see us get rid of division altogether.
The rivalries will still exist when the teams meet every couple of years.

I could get on board with that but I doubt the sec would give up the sec championship game money.
Also some teams would still have easier schedules when certain other teams rotated on and off their schedules. Would be like the big 10 before last year. As long as they rotated systematically and not "randomly"

Regarding the SEC HQ in Bham, I don't see it moving any time soon
(Not arguing whether or not is should be).
It would be relatively easy to create a board with a representative from each school to monitor/ensure parity/impartiality.
