Damage was done because unfortunately he was guilty before proven innocent

.is it possible that the driver saw him in the wrong lane up ahead and then swerved into the oncoming lane. Since Kyren did pass those 4 other cars. Is that what the police were saying?

I THINK...

again...

I THINK...

the car behind the truck was tailgating too close, the gold truck probably gently braked because of kyren a football field ahead was getting back over in the lane... but the stupid woman behind the truck was not prepared and then reacted by going into oncoming traffic lane.

is kyren's actions a part of the sequence of events? YES.

was it the causation of the accident, doesn't appear to be the predominant cause of but i'm not going to say 0% right now.

This is completely insane and why you should never ever trust law enforcement. This state is a wreck

Jesus Christ, rest in peace Kyren. I hope the family does pursue legal action.

Evidence from Kyren Lacy Wreckless Case (HeartBreaking)

Hasn't it already been determined that he'd have almost certainly gotten off. Or at the very least, get a tiny slap on the wrist.

I feel like he was partially aware of this, so his suicide was likely caused by other factors in addition to this.

Big props to BigBinBR on this post from one of the old threads. I believe he meant "Most police reports are shite."

quote:

Most police reports aren’t shite. And they aren’t admissible in court because the police officer wasn’t a witness. Police are notorious for picking the wrong side as to what they “think” happened - a lot of times the first person they talk to’s side.

Tons of accident reports have the police posting one person at fault and then video footage comes out showing that the accident didn’t occur that way.

What the police report will be good for is listing the witnesses and their general statements.

With regards to Lacy specifically I would bet that there is dashcam footage or other footage other than just witness saying he caused the accident. And if State Police got involved in the accident investigation it will like be a little little more thorough and buttoned up. If it’s just the Lafourche parish sheriff’s office then it’s a crapshoot on how thorough the investigation was.

The grand jury may have chosen to not even indict. That would have ended it right there. We’ll never know.

That old guy literally told the cops on bodycam that the lady caused the wreck because she swerved into the lane to avoid running into the back of the old man.

What's the video timestamp on this?

Now that the surveillance video has come out, it is beyond a shadow of a doubt that Lacy was completely innocent and had ZERO to do with the accident.

I’m not saying he wasn’t innocent. But damn, what would cause him to take his life?

If was truly “innocent” why didn’t he let his lawyer do his homework, find this video evidence and get this case thrown out?

Something doesn’t add up here

Didn’t get a chance to watch the whole thing. Will do that later.

The part I watched is strong evidence that Lacy didn’t cause this wreck.

The only thing I’d like to know is when Lacy was in the wrong lane and at what point he got into the right lane prior to impact.

Was it 3 seconds, 5 seconds, 10 seconds, 30 seconds, etc.

Maybe someone who watched the whole video can answer.

attorney is trying to paint a straight forward simplistic picture but we are talking roughly between 1 to 2ish seconds.

Well he basically got blackballed from the NFL which he probably felt put massive amounts of pressure to help him and his family with NFL and the guy is early 20s has difficulty processing that.

And here we go.

How do you know he was aware this was going to end up a good result for him? At a minimum it cost him tens of millions in the draft just off perception. Oh and he was charged with what Manslaughter?

Bad shite happens in dumbass towns like this.

at the moment of the accident. But 1.5-2 seconds prior he was 120 ish yards away beginning his getting back into the the correct lane. he fully got back into right lane at 92 ish yards away from accident scene and accident occured when kyren was 70 something yards from accident scene. That's a fraction of a second in time.

Sickening how they protected Jalen Carter yet railroaded Lacy. NFL is an absolute joke.

Unless it's specifically mentioned later of the video, a logical working theory is IF Kyren was passing coming around the curve, old deceased with slow reactions and poor depth perception saw him, freaked out, and tugged the wheel and hit the other car head on.

no way you watched any of that video.

Lady’s black box car data shows her EBS didn’t activate and she was going 49 mph .5 seconds before she hit the other car. She was behind the gold truck.

Wonder what the chances she was on her phone are and never even saw KL?
