Everything Matters in Baseball

I read it earlier this year. It gave me a whole new appreciation for just what a genius Skip Bertman actually was. Not just in baseball, but in the one thing that actually matters in life…getting things done.
If you haven’t read it, I highly recommend it. It’s available at local Barnes & Noble stores, and of course, on Amazon.
RIP, Skip.

100% of the reason I don't own it is bc of who wrote it. Which really sucks, because I would love to read it.

I was given the book as a gift, but haven't read it yet for the same reason.

Yeah, I kind of had to overlook that myself. But I’m glad I did.

Same. My wife gave it to me as an anniversary gift and I frowned when I saw the Clown as the Author. I haven't read it but I do think I'll probably read it now because of Skip's passing but damn really wish anyone else wrote it.

Jeez guys. I don’t like Guilbeau either, but you guys are acting like he’s Hitler or someone like that lol. It’s not that serious lol.

My wife and 2 boys went and got it signed for me while I was out of town. They gave it to me as a present. My boys are both young but they have heard and learned about Skip since they were babies. They both also got their picture taken with Skip and Jay. We have that picture framed.

It's a decision to not commercially support a guy who has been antagonistic to LSU for his entire career. It's not an overreaction, it's literally the only reasonable action to take. Anything more than simply ignoring him would be overboard.

Guilbeau is just an idiot with idiotic opinions. What he says or thinks has absolutely no impact on LSU.

literally, huh?

If you hold the stance I hold yes. As I said, anything more than that would be overboard.

If you put personal distaste for Guilbeau aside, he is actually a very good writer and has been for a long time. Unfortunately, he joined the clickbait darkside. But don't let that take away from his talents.

At first I had reservations about reading it like everyone else but I went ahead and did it and I really enjoyed it .
