Everyone is excited about the men’s basketball roster.

Rightfully so, as this team will have talent, length, & size. The strength of the team seems to be the guards, at least from an experience standpoint. Our bigs are huge, but maybe unproven yet. So lots to be excited about.
But I am perhaps more pumped about the coaching staff.
Will Wade is extremely passionate & loves LSU. He is a really good in-game coach & had loads of NCAA & SEC experience. However Rick Stansbury & Johnny Jones are also on this staff & both are former head coaches in the SEC.
Then we have Damon Stoudamire who was head coach at Ga Tech & Pacific earlier in his career. Damon also played for 13 seasons in the NBA.
The final two assistants are Vernon Hamilton, who has been with Wade from LSU to McNeese to NC State & now back to LSU. Finally The last assistant is Marc Hsu. Marc has 18 years of NCAA coaching experience & is an elite recruiter. He spent a lot of time as an assistant at DePaul when they were always in the NCAAT.
If Will can keep this staff together, the future is very bright. Can’t wait for this BB season to get started.
They play FSU in an exhibition on Saturday in Tallahassee & then the season starts on Nov 2nd vs LSUNO in the PMAC.

Our bigs have a ton of experience just not in college besides Mo. Niang and Dessert have years or Euro pro leagues along with Ruzic who has some pro experience over there

They have been practicing but it nay take a while to come together as a team since it’s just been scrimmages. Plus college ball ids different from international ball they play.
But the immediate future is starbright and roundball has a pulse.
Plus I like Wade. He is my General.

I’m wondering if there are any other NCAAB teams with 4 (P5) head coaches on staff?

true but they have been practicing together for a long time. I cant say it helps but they also went on a retreat to camp istrouma. dessert says it was hot and asked if it gets cold here. wade said just a little, in December.
even tho they have not played in a game they have been in town for a while. one of them has rented a house in rouzan.
my hope is that big neck can bring them together with his big neck antics

Can anyone give me a list of the players that got eligible, a list of players that were ruled ineligible, and a list of the players that we are still waiting to hear to become eligible? Thanks
