Because that might be what Georgia offers.

So, for those in the “give the man what he wants” camp, what if he wants to be co-DC?

I’m not cool with that, are you?

Sure. He can have the title and still just coach corner backs and recruit

Aranda maybe?

People worried about Raymond being mad at a dilution of his duties, now want to dilute Aranda’s.

We want to make the highest paid DC in the country a Co-DC? Lol

Sure. Aranda is on borrowed time. I'd say were a year or two away from somebody poaching him as a HC. Give Raymond a raise and groom him as Aranda's replacement.

Of course. He’s worth triple what we pay him now.

I’m sure he does. If that’s the case wish him well. We don’t need a defensive coordinator

Well he’s not going to be one here next year, so if that’s what he wants and someone is offering that to him then best of luck to him

I believe Busch is the DC in waiting, which could be one of the problems.

Just remember: Aranda's contract runs longer than Ed Orgeron's at this moment in time.

Dave Aranda has plenty of time.

Where do you people come from? He’s the highest paid DB coach in the country.

No, a DB coach is not worth $1.5MM a year

Ed Orgeron controls one of the best college football programs in America. Orgeron has every opportunity to create a new power in the SEC West. LSU's resources are virtually unlimited.

If he succeeds, great. If not... looking forward to seeing Aranda as the HC.

Anyone who knows my thoughts on the offense can likely guess where I lean on that one...
