I would Say about 76% of mcmillans passes we’re completed over Netherly or Kirklin in coverage. I dont Think either are ready.
Although I am Surprised Davis isn’t getting more hyped coming out of this game. He stood out on th McMillan film. He probably could have had 2 TDs he he gets lead a little more on one of those passes.

Brennan looks like shite.

Thanks. Couple quick observations from only watching JMac
1) this looks like the old plays/ formations we ran pre-Canada. Which is fine by me, they weren’t bad per se, just had playcalling/ execution issues
2) McMillan has a bit of a windup and has to put his whole body into throws, hopefully that doesn’t cause int issues
3) he missed some easy throws, but at least it looked like he mostly knew where to go
4) back to #1 really quick, if this is indeed stuff we ran a couple years ago, I could see it giving JMac a bit of an advantage over the other 2 who had only run Canada’s stuff

IDK about shite, but he certainly looks uncomfortable

Watching Brennan, and he certainly doesn't look comfortable by any means, but I will say this - He makes the easy throws look easy - which is refreshing. (obviously we need more production than that, but just an observation compared to Etling/Harris who would miss easy throws quite often).
He was close to having a much better day statistically with a few misthrows / drops.

Narcisse did not look good. His receivers did the bulk of the work. A few exceptional grabs on bad throws padded his underwhelming stat line.

LN was being Harvey Weinsteined on most plays. Yeah, his long td probably would've been a thoracic spinal injury and collapsed lung in actual live play. Well......Chaisson looked good.

That Brennan throw to Marshall was a thing of beauty. Perfect timing, perfect placement, and great zip on it. Hopefully he gets more confidence because he has the arm talent.

Man we could not get Giles going.
Brennan and Mcmillan had some good drives. Narcisse will have a tough time getting going when he can’t run the ball.
Not as bad of performances as people said.

McMillan had quite a number of really bad throws also. His ability to tuck it and run definitely sets him apart from Brennan.

Yeah he does. He honestly does have the talent to make those NFL type throws in that just have to be in a specific spot. They said Harris did but I honestly never saw it.
He needs to beef up and settle down.

I liked how McMillan scrambled. He seemed able to dodge rushers and had quickness moving downfield.

Am I the only one who is a little concerned with pass protection. I know its still very early but it won't matter who the QB is if we have people come off the edge untouched a lot

If you watch Narcisse and then Brennan immediately after, it makes Brennan look like a jr high player
