That’s one way to take pressure off your pitching staff.

Sometimes that's not as good as it might sound.

I say we go old school Dixie Youth ball and just throw Skenes out there every night thru June.
And let him hit clean up.
And let him hit clean up.

Unfortunately, nearly everyone available is pretty damn bad. Have to find someone to pitch near the plate. Give up a home run here and there, but stop the fricking walks. Embarrassing

Just 10 runned Mississippi State and this is the energy you’ve got tonight?
What a fricking hoot you are.

Floyd and Ack could probably do tomorrow by themselves.
And I promise you their available pen is worse than ours.

Guidry has positioned himself for a starter role, Hurd has improved,we have saved bullpen arms and you’re saying this?

You don’t remember last weekend?

Crews has popped up to SS the last 47 at bats and you guys are worried about the bullpen

Crews isn’t invincible. The rest of the order picking up for him is a big deal combined with improved pitching.

Saturdays are bad, and Sundays are pathetic. Have to depend on a ton of runs, or there will be no championship run, like it or not.

Every team in America has this problem. There’s no dominant pitching depth for any team.

You mean the game we won 3-0 as opposed to the game we just won 12-1?
I fail to see the correlation

If this team, this year is embarrassing you, then you should stop watching LSU baseball.

I just want to see guys go out there and throw strikes. With the way we swing the bats, we can afford to give up 5 runs on Sunday. We have a stout defense if balls are put in play.
It’s for this reason I think Money is a pretty important part of a deep post season run. If we stay in the winners bracket in the regionals and Omaha, no biggie. But if we end up in a loser bracket we will need someone to eat innings while giving up a handful of runs. We’ll mash as well… but starting a game down 6-0 like last weekend can impact the guys at the plate.
