Did you enjoy that blown coverage right before the half to give up the lead? Or the wheel route that was wide-arse open that Hennigan unfortunately overthrew.

frick Tulame, this completely biased announcing crew, and these bitch AAC refs.

LOL no shite I love the arm chairs that compare apples to oranges and think it applies to LSU. Our DBs struggle against the SEC competition doesn’t mean Tulane talent wise is better. Now they maybe coached better but doesn’t look like it now.

It’s very difficult to play the ball when you are being outrun by a superior athlete. I’m telling you from about 30 years of playing flag and touch football, that when that happened to me I always had a voice in my head saying turn. But I knew that I’d lose a little speed, and that I could not afford to. Most of the time I’d turn and play the ball, but when I was digging deep to keep up it was almost impossible (even though it’s still the right play).

You can’t tell these idiots anything. Something taught since Jr high but but but our coaches aren’t teaching them anything. It’s like the HUNDREDS of posts as to why they play so far off the ball.

Speed kills. The ones that have speed don’t have the hips to turn and run. Ryan and Harris are safeties trying to play corner or nickel. That’ll work against lesser talent.

So true. Like you, I learned this throwing frisbees to my dogs for 30 year's. Every once in a while, the neighbor dog tries to join and plays the frisbee. It’s pass interference and/or unsportsmanlike nearly every time.

This thread is about WHEN IN POSITION, the DB’s playing the ball and not just trying to mirror the receiver. I’m not bragging on the entire Defense

Let them back in The SEC and then watch Vanderbilt beat them by 21.
You know, they beat the University of Southern California Trojans in the Cotton Bowl last year.

LSU needs their in-state rival back in the SEC to close out the season with..........
