Even though LSU is moving on, Les' passion for LSU needs to be applauded

Even though I'll be one of the first to criticize Les on many things, one thing I don't question is his love for LSU. He truly bled purple and gold. He has been an excellent ambassador for the school and is the kind of person LSU and any other school would love to have represent their values. The fans at the game need to realize this is his last game at Tiger Stadium and acknowledge all the man has accomplished here and also brace themselves for the next chapter going forward with a new coach that will be better apt to coach the game the way it is being played in present time. I don't doubt Les gave this program his all, and he will go down as a very successful coach nationally.

Blah blag blah. The reason his buyout is so ridiculous is because he held Lsu hostage when the arksnsas job opened up 3 years ago. Miles loves money, period. And there's nothing wrong with that.

So the buffoon who can barely find his way to the practice field every day plays LSU like a vintage violin in contract negotiations? Interesting....

His agent is you clown. And Les let his agent milk us.

frick, I've been outed. I'm am his agent, and I'll let you on a little secret, I started the rumor last week about Les' eminent firing. LSU's admin botched it and now we're reviewing a $6M/year, 7 year extension. My family and I will be spending Christmas in Fiji. Thanks LSU!!!

No he squandered away extremely talented teams. Should have at least two more championship trophies and I'll never forgive Miles for his horrible coaching. Only won with Sabans players IDGAF what you rantards think.

I agree 100%. I do believe it's time for a change but I respect and appreciate what Les has done for our university over the last 11 years. It will definitely be a bittersweet Sat night in Tiger Stadium for me. I hope our boys will send him out with a W, carry him off the field and we then hire someone that turns us back into the asskicking machine that we were not long ago.

Rantardedness at its best, right here. Care to explain how $aban recruited the 2011 team?

I wish Saban would have recruited us a QB and someone who doesn't call the offense like a 7 year old playing madden.

Horrible coach, yet should have 2 more championships...makes sense. Just throw him on the trash heap with these other bums who squandered talent over the years...
Bobby Bowden: 2 NCs in 33 seasons at FSU (including 14 straight seasons of top-4 finishes)
Joe Paterno: 2 NCs in 46 seasons at Penn St
Vince Dooley: 1 NC in 25 seasons at UGA
Lou Holtz: 1 NC in 11 seasons at ND
Steve Spurrier: 1 NC in 12 seasons at Florida
Bob Stoops: 1 NC in 17 seasons at OU
Bo Schembechler: 0 NCs in 21 seasons
Note: As of today, they all have a statues, except for Stoops (although the whereabouts of Joe Pa's is currently unknown).

Loved the mans passion in the past. But over the last few years, to me hasn't been there. Year by year there have been fewer and fewer surprises in games. 4th and 3 on our own 36 down 14 at home vs Arkansas and we took a delay of game penalty did me in. Nice effort their coach.
