To be fair, he sailed one over Moore's head. Although, it looked like Moore thought about making a play on it but pulled up. Assuming it was even close enough to maybe jump up and nab it, I don't blame him after taking a season ending hit on a similar play last year.

Good lord, Slack. So, would you start Etling or BH on Saturday? Which is it?

He has said multiple times Etling deserves it.

I personally wouldn't care if Harris started. I think both should play but want someone to take the job in the next two games. I don't want a time share.

Not sure what the "good Lord" is in reference to, but I'd start Etling.

This is kind of where I'm at. You've got a week or two to get this figured out for the long haul. I don't mind a short leash either way, but the scripted series drives me nuts when they're essentially the same QB - meaning we don't have a PP and a DT QB or something.

He's not a smooth runner. Reminds me a little of Ware the way he steps so wide.

I genuinely don't know how he gets anywhere. He is choppy as hell but apparently he's elusive too. Did a nice job on that screen.

Glad to hear it. It was in reference to you, seemingly relentlessly imo, defending Chi's play and BH's hurt feelings.

Clearly the receivers aren't used to getting the ball. Have to work on catching now.

. It isn't always the physical tools that make a good QB

but he does have the physical tools. He has good size, nd looks to have a pretty strong arm. also shows good athleticism running the ball. So don't sell him short on the physical tools part.

I'm not defending his play. He's got issues he needs to address. You can't let your frustrations about not getting good balls when you're open affect the few that you actually do get your hands on. I just think the idea he's doing it on purpose is crazy. He was poor against Wisky too, and that was Harris the whole time.

He doesn't need to be coddled just as he doesn't need to be destroyed on here either. I've discussed Etling ad nauseam today and largely avoided Harris. If the fanbase wants to move on so bad, let's do it. Harris is the back up. Why are we still talking about him in any capacity?

^^ I understand why we're talking about him now, I'm just talking about all the posts saying Etling is a better _______ than Harris. It should be left at Etling is good at ______ and that's that.

He does not have a strong arm. It's not terrible, but I don't expect him to complete a 10 yard out like Mett and Harris can from the opposite hash marks.

Some tards are suggesting Chi is tanking on purpose? That's a new one, even for tRant.

Personally, I've never booed our team (players or coach) -- I reserve that for the refs and opponents exhibiting thug behavior. But, I've come close with Les. I probably would have been tempted to do it if I'd gone to the game Saturday. I think the booing was an indictment of Les, obviously, but it just doesn't seem right to do it when our players are trying their best. All that said, BH has had ample opportunity and his feelings are secondary to the goals (and psyche) of the team.

Yeah BH doesn't get the benefit of the doubt anymore, and that is on him. No argument here. He ran into the locker room during the alma mater. Bad move, although understandable considering the circumstances. He'll learn and be better. He really doesn't have a choice.

That is actually the prevailing thought among many. It is terrifying these people presumably can vote.

Why can't our o-line be a little more dominant... against an opponent like JSU, Etling had to dance way too much.

So pumped. Before the season, everyone was saying LSU is loaded with talent everywhere, they just need average QB play. All we need is a game manager. This guy seems to have all of the things we need for that.

Pocket Presence

Great leadership off the bat - going to his teammates on the sideline, his reaction after dupre's drop (his first one)

Going through progressions - this is my favorite. For so long, it has seemed like we had 2 WR's, and I wouldn't doubt they were staring down one the whole play. Checking to the RB, using the TE's, executing screens

Solid arm strength - I couldnt tell too much from this video. i know the announcers said he had a very strong arm, but I have seen posters here saying the opposite. I dont trust either

Scramble - he showed the ability to run a little, but more importantly showed he knows when a good time to run is

Spreading it around - threw to 2 RBs, 2 TEs, 2(?Dupre and Davis?) WRs, and he scrambled
