You posted his own bio (LOL) and then articles from fansided.com, bigeasy something or other, and a few other websites I’ve never heard of. None of that was written by a scout and none of that is a scouting report. Those are articles written by sports writers, not scouts.

I was actually giving you the benefit of doubt this time and hoping you would actually be able to backup what you posted. Not surprisingly, it turned out you were simply lying.....again. You’re pathetic.

Where does the bio info come from stupid, notice they give an accurate composite recruiting star rating but I guess that’s not valid either and you even lied about the websites I linked lol. Keep lying dirtbag that’s all people like you who don’t know a fricking thing can do.

I'm a huge Etling supporter, but I'm also realistic in assessing his ability. I think his biggest issue is his lack of confidence in his OL. He sometimes perceives the pocket is collapsing when it isn't. Also, he doesn't step up into the pocket when there is pressure on the edges and doesn't step into throws. He has a lot more arm strength then he is given credit for and you can see it when he has time and steps into his throws.

Bottom line though is his team needs to help him. Rarely do you see a clean pocket and WRs with separation. Some plays take too long to develop and that's on Canada. He needs to give Etling quick plays with 1-2 reads. Hit a few of those and then try to extend the D. Watching Ole Miss' poor DL break through makes me worried when Etling has to face Bama's front 7.

And a 4 star recruit out of high school so I agree that he is talented. The guy is the best quarterback that we have had since Mett. He is a breath of fresh air actually compared to the past "Duel Threat" guys who were "little threat" to complete simple passes. The offensive line needs to step up and block better. We get blown backwards off the line way more than we should. It's hard to let plays develop, go through progressions and let receivers get to the intended reception spots when big mo fo defensive linemen are chasing him all over the place. He is doing better at running the ball when things break down than he used to. The fact of the matter is this guy is improving his game just as everyone else is. IS he elite? No. Is is serviceable? His quarterback rating says yes.

You don't think he is as good as his quarterback rating?

His biggest problem is he doesn't see wide open receivers. He gets rushed in the pocket and throws into coverage when there is a wide open guy. We don't lose the Troy game if he hits the open guys.

Against Bama he will pay for making these errant throws.

Do you or Number 31 actually watch LSU games? I ask, because you both cherry pick stats to back up a position that anyone watching can clearly see through.

And, by the way, you calling someone a child with your mental makeup is comical. Throwing tantrums and name calling are the fodder of the feeble or childlike mind.

You mean like you just did? Lol don’t ask me if I watch games when you don’t even know what you’re watching. You could throw a fact in here or there it might help only there are no facts to support your claim lol.

The only Qbs I wouldn't take on that list over Etling are Shurmer, Franks, Dormady. Everyone else would have better numbers on this team

Everyone blames the OL and the receivers but go to a game so you can see whole plays develop. There are receivers open all the time and he has time but he hesitates too much.

I am looking at your posts in this one thread alone (there is more empirical data anywhere you post) to come to that conclusion. Both, you must not watch and absorb games at all and you act like a petulant child when someone challenges you.

lol your homework assignment is to look up the definition of irony then get back to me. Oh yea and try to find a single fact to support your position instead of trying to insult your way into what I’m sure someone like you would call winning the argument.

I think he'd look better if we did some dink an dunk passes early. Those long developing passes aren't going to happen with our Oline. He just doesn't have enough time.

If all the others are better, why does he rank higher? Are the stats tainted?

I try to make one home game a year and have watched all so far this season on TV. A medical issue has made going to BR on game day somewhat treacherous, so I'll have to take your word.

I'm not making a point really. Just posting the numbers, which to me are surprising.

I predicted Etling would be a top-3 SEC QB before the season, but I certainly didn't foresee a RB and a TE as the #2 & #3 receivers on the team through 8 games.

Chark without a TD catch; no WR other than Chark with nore than 160 yards receiving after 8 games... I can't say I saw that coming.

Looks like Diarse may have been smart after all...
