well yes, I have. esp back in the day when a lot of football players (all white) were really dumb and it showed when they spoke.

whether you like it or not, one of the primary determinations in job interviews is an applicant's "appearance", both physical and his (hers) demeanor. their speech is an indicator of education. you can belong to whatever subculture you want to but in the business world you aren't going to get away with speaking poorly, whether it's ebonics or any other subculture lingo. the majority culture of the usa is "white" and the official language is English. one doesn't have to like it but if one wants a top job they had better sound educated. i'm as southern as can be but in a job interview I drop the colloquillisms (sp) and use correct pronunciations. common sense to me.

This is correct. So the applicant must look and talk white.

That's your prerogative. Your life preferences mean frick all to me.

Absolutely. Taken in the context presented (a football player), the stereotype is normally referred to as a "dumb jock". Wonder where (or why) that saying originated? Give that some thought.

Just say he talks white, cause thats what you meant.

Wrong snowflake. That's NOT what I meant. What I meant was it's nice that, since he represents LSU, he didn't bust out with something like "You skrong? I'm skrong. We skrong den!"

frick you for turning an innocent compliment into something racial. You frickin' racist. Go limp to your safe space and whimper uncontrollably for a couple hours now.

Ok so why did you not give Danny the same "compliment"? Or was he not "well spoken"?

I would say he seems more well-spoken than Danny. He communicates well objectively. I see poor communicators in every race and I see people of every race who speak well, have good eye contact, nice smile, positive body language, and overall confidence.

From what I've seen on Facebook, it's usually people who have had things explained to them their whole life. Now they get to "educate" everyone on something. I know it's shocking that there are dumb dumbs on Facebook. People are just bored.

It's similar to people finding anything and everything to get pissed off about, if you're offended about something you have the upper hand.

because he isn't racist like you. He was giving the man that was being "interviewed" a complement. And you brought race into this. I'm hoping to call you a racist enough to where you will realize you were the racist frick who brought race into this. You Racist.

It is not a lie. Poor parents, regardless of skin color, tend to undo what kids learn in school. And I don't have to be in the homes. Just walk into any place in South LA and listen to how uneducated the fricking adults are.

I've heard it said about several white people. It just means they are more eloquent than the average. Obama is very well spoken. Trump is not, typically.

You aren't very well spoken. Maybe that's why you hate the saying.

I saw nothing racial with this thread till this statement. We’re supposed to evolve to be color blind and put racism behind us, but I fail to see how that can be possible with these kinds of reactions.
