If we want a shot to win the sec we need to roll with one of the new guys. Etling is good for about 10 wins but not enough

don't know if I feel like that can make him better. That's gonna be an ordeal.

Back pain is a bitch. You just never know which slight move or twitch will set it off.

The surgery shouldn't be bad. It's outpatient. Should be fine by July.

Pretty fricking hard to go against the defense you practice against everyday. Most spring games the defenses usually play better than offense that's just how it is

hell yea, the defense knows your plays and can recognize tells in the formations, etc

if the game would have continued they may have opened it up more but I saw enough to be encouraged; maybe the only guy on here that is.

And if you "roll" with one of the new guys they may get you 6-8 with a surprise. Etling is fine and will be better than last year. Let that roll.

Les Miles left the QB cupboard empty. You're going to suck there for at least 2 more years until the younger QBs can develop and that's if they're even capable.

Good ole off-season denial right here...

Etling stunk in last year's spring game too, as the backup. We saw how much that mattered in the fall.

The worst play by the backups was Justin taking the loss instead of throwing the ball away. Every other time they got killed. The second team Oline was shredded all day. That was the perfect situation for someone looking for a reason to say Etling had a better day.

Unless they all played with both teams, you can't make a strong case that they were worse than Etling. I would have like to have seen Etling with the second team offense as well.

Just as bad, in my opinion, was what we saw out of the purple team quarterbacks in the first half. No better.

What I did not like was the 2nd and 3rd QB's were running with the 2nd and 3rd teams and looked like a shite show...

Grimes continues to show he's a useless recruiter and coach yet still stays employed here. I'll bet we're screaming all season at how bad our offensive line play becomes.

I didn't watch a single play so idk what happened. I do know what I saw in live SEC action in 2016 and if it was the exact same, it's good enough for all but BAMA and the o line will be what gets us over that hump.

I was there. His deep pass to Chark down the right hash was perfection.

Etling was good enough to win every game other than against Bama. Even that game could've finished differently. Their touchdown drive shouldn't have even happened and we had a fg blocked which rarely happens and a no call safety. We dominated Florida between the 20s. Wisconsin and Auburn were complete flukes.

Actually, it was underthrown and could have been picked had the DB been looking. Saw it from my TV

Tell that to Ohio State, Auburn, Alabama, Louisville, South Carolina, West Virginia, etc. Stop with the excuses. Bama and Ohio St had multiple QBs look downright scary good.

LSU fans should expect more.
