Same shitty in game coaching decisions.

Same control freak. Promoting a guy from within because he trusts him rather than he’s right for the job. Regardless what you think about E it makes 0 sense to hire him to run an offense he’s never even been an assistant coach in. The shite he pulled before the Troy game.

He keeps thinking he’s gonna get Lane Kiffin as his OC. He has no ide what he wants to do on offense.

He doesn’t elevate the team by coaching it. He can just maybe get guys.

Please explain, in your own words, how this excuses 30 point losses to miss state and a loss to a sun belt team

It doesn't excuse it.

But it's not that surprising either when you have such a young team & your 4 best players are hurt off and on the whole year.

Well, citing youth and injuries as an explanation for losing to Troy and getting arse-raped by State is pretty fricking laughable. That would be a valid excuse for losing to teams with whom we are on somewhat equal footing as a program. Not those.

Yet wade checks a lot of Boxes O doesn’t

Improved record - check
Top 10 recruiting class -check
Exceed preseason expectations- check
Win a game in the postseason - check.

And you can argue Wade was way more involved in Xs and Os than O.

Oh won no
More games than Les did his last year here. The team didn’t look better.

What would make that valid?

You need to articulate your point better

I want to know why do you think O has won more games at LSU than Ole Miss. what aspect of his coaching style have changed and give me some evidence of this.

I just told you. The most egregious decisions were him making two OC hires that he fires after one year.

Most coaches will never fire an OC in year one. The remaining that do don't do it again. He did it twice.

What are the odds of that happening? That has to have an extraordinarily low incidence of happening period, because usually the guys that do that don't get hired for second jobs.

We all know why he's won more at LSU. They are different programs. Which is why they need to stop being compared to one another like they are equal.

He's just making vague points that don't actually back anything he's claiming and when you point this out his response is "well, you just don't understand".

It's pretty clear he's trolling.

No doubt. He's made intelligent posts in the past. I just want to see how deep down this rabbit hole he'll go

I'm wondering why you just blow something like that off. It's indicative of a highly dysfunctional program.

You could tack on why would he hire a position coach that didn't really want the job in the first place.

And what's "working out?" 9 wins again?

No you have to compare then.

It’s like WAR (obviously we can’t compute this with a HC)

How much better is O than an average coach? I dont Expect Saban we win 10 games with the Ole Miss team O took over. But he would win more than 3-4.

A good coach should improve the play of the players he has, and improve the quality of players he has.

O didn’t do the first one.

What changes to O made him
More successful at LSU or do you think just being at LSU made O more successful?

Why should i have to explain a clear point over and over? Go read page 8 again. My point about the basketball team is pretty damn clear. I dont think Coach O is a better Coach than Will Wade. I dont think the football team showed more improvement than the basketball team. I never said either these. Go read what i wrote again.

I'll post it again. Do actually respond this time instead of passing it off an unworthy of your precious time. Thanks.

Well, you're taking the compliments for the basketball program and asking why people don't apply the same logic and compliment the football program.

By the same logic, the football program doesn't deserve the same compliments as there has been no improvement, unlike the basketball program.

Care to dispute?

Frank Herron

frank lacouture
Corey Thompson
Kevin toliver
Donte Jackson

That’s just off the top of my head. This team was not young. Having young players get in during mop up time against BYU doesn’t make this team young.
