Have heard this since 2011. How many championships have been won since then? When will the offense come along, as you stated? Same shite, different year. Have a dipshit as a head coach, a previously failed experiment at OC, and apparently there is no QB that can outshine a career backup, in McMillan. Love your optimism, but it is based on nothing.

1. Hiring O was a big mistake and that it totally on Alleva.
2. I see nothing O has done that leads me to believe he can lead us to championship contention (apart from retaining Aranda).
3. The BOS is NOT going agree to pay O what it would take to fire him in November, 2018. Zero chance. O will get 2019 no matter what recordwise.
4. Our D should be good enough to get us to 8 wins. I just don't see us at 6-6 no matter what ESPN says.

In this day and age of college football, hoping that your defense can only give up 14 pts or less every week is one of the worst things you can do.

I'm not saying I'm OK with 6-6. Quite the fricking opposite. Just that it's what I kind of expect at this point based on the direction of the program, the huge question marks facing the team and the schedule. I completely agree with everything you said about firing Miles. O should be promptly fired if we end up 6-6. Here's hoping he and Ensminger surprise the shite out of me and we go 10-2.

This is the thing. I'm still going to be pissed, but at least I won't be blindsided by it. I fully expect to spend a ton of time saying "frick this shite" in the fall of 2018.

Exactly. I'm not sure why people are taking it as me "defending" or "being OK with" 6 wins. It's simply an indication of the confidence I have in Orgeron. But again, hopefully he and Ensminger shock me and we take a step forward.
