I understand but why point to a 3-4 hour game when you can literally point to one play, which cost us a game

Typical crazy fan talk. That play didn't cost us the game. It cost us an outside shot at the game. If PP7 had been ruled in we still have a 90% chance of losing that game. IIRC we needed a TD, and our offense was getting the shite kicked out of it.

Anyway, it was an extremely close call. We can't blame the ref for getting it wrong. When I saw the replays I thought Peterson was in, but was it incontrovertible? The picture that gets posted nowadays sure looks obvious.

Same thing goes on the personal foul on our lineman last year. Folks talk like it cost us the game, but we had very little chance of a TD if that call isn't made. Likely the same outcome.

Ritter and his crew are flag happy and LSU isn't the only team that does not want him, I have heard Alabama fans and Auburn fans complain about all the flags flying.

IE Ritter hasn't meet a flag he doesn't like.

Ritter was in the replay booth???

i think the guy in the replay booth had actually written a book about his friendship with Bear Bryant. Seriously it's called "you'd better be right" or something similar. He travels to all the UA alumni groups and gives speeches. He was in the replay booth.

That's correct. It sounds crazy, but it's true.

Ritter's hand on that play was not making an announced ruling on the field and quietly calling it incomplete to the booth. That allowed the booth official to look for incontrovertible evidence of a catch rather than the other way around. Both of them fricked up.

Should have been unsportsmanlike conduct ONLY because it was right in Adams' face... Have no issue with celebration itself - comparing it to Wing's penalty, I found the Syracuse penalty non-call completely ridiculous.

I believe the replay official was Gerald Hodges? It's been a while so I could be wrong.

True and auburn 06 wasnt ritter, I just went back and looked. I just thought it was.

There were at least 6 calls that went against LSU that were just plain horrible. I don't care who officiated. Even Tuberville was surprised at the way the game was called.

This is exactly what I'm referring, too.

Please let everyone know that you did not graduate from LSU.
There are so many things wrong with this sentence that I just don't have the time.
